Free2Scape Isn't a clan that put's too much weight onto ranks as you will see. Unless a rank has special permissions, ranks are based off of your total level. Generally, this allows you to know who might be more able to answer questions should you have some.

After these staff ranks, most people will progress normally via total skill level
