Many thanks for clicking onto our Clan Recruitment Page.

Whether you are relatively new to the game or maxed, please don't be shy.
Humans are inherently social creatures, so it’s understandable to be looking for a space online where you can hang out with like-minded Oldschool nerds individuals
. Regardless if it is just a spot where you can observe conversation flowing, a place where you can chat about all things Runescape/Real-life, to be able to show off your in-game drops & achievements, to do activities with others or to learn new skills such as pvming,
you will be welcomed by us.


Below please find a run-down of the main points with regards to this clan so that if this is not what you’re seeking, we do not use up too much of your time. That being said, if the below sounds alright, please do keep reading for more information.

Social more than anything, with PvM Enthusiasts (ranging from mid-tier to late-game bossing), skillers of all types, individuals aiming for Max Cape, Pvpers, returning players, Iron Accounts all wrapped up in a casual and friendly clan chat.


Events :
Yes, events are hosted several times per week & are a mix of skilling-based, PvM & random miscellaneous ones for example skill of the week, bossing trips, hide & seek events, festive events, PvM Bingo and so much more.

Mentoring :
Yes, we do offer this for PvM activities.

Any Requirements? Just need to be 18+, p2p & capable of abiding to Jagex rules, and happy to use discord (at least to sign up).
No gear requirements, no activity requirements, and must be 1k+ skill total (which shouldn't take long to reach anyway). Please, just be yourself.
We’re all adults juggling our real-life commitments who simply enjoy playing Runescape and appreciate being able to chat in-game or persue in-game goals together.

If you’re on the fence about joining, we recommend guesting for a while and see if you like the atmosphere. We promise we don’t bite! You can also join our discord to see what we offer before fully committing.

Ranking system




The above picture explains how our clan ranking system works (A bigger and more easily readable version can be found on our discord). As you can see, regular ranks will be automatically earned just by being in our clan (and active meaning that you will need to log in from time to time).

Special ranks & senior ranks can be requested through a google form found on the clan discord. It is important that all criteria listed are met.

Clan Rules


Rules are made to structure a clan, to keep peace & order.

1. Be Kind

We encourage everyone to be respectful of other people. Banter is allowed however if someone mentions that they are uncomfortable, please stop immediately. Bullying or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. We advise controversial topics to be kept out of the clan chat. If you are told by a senior rank or higher to move on from conversation or take it to pms, please do so.

2. Clan & Discord Conduct

Please do not spam in either the Clan Chat or else in the Discord. Do not advertise or discuss methods to break game rules (RWT, botting, etc.). Do not beg for ranks. Visit the #rules-and-ranks on our discord to see how ranking works.

3. Begging/Loans

We do not allow any form of begging. You will be given ONE warning, after that you will be removed. If you need in-game help or are struggling, we pride ourselves on offering advice rather than handing out money and/or items. If you need to loan items, we ask you to keep this to pms with friends & strongly advise you do not loan without collateral. The clan is not responsible for the loss of any items or gp.

4. No Invites, Advertisements or Links

This should go without saying but please do not advertise your own clan/discord within this discord or our cc itself. Do not send links or invites to our members. Do not stream/go live here if you are in a different clan (turn cc to off or leave whilst streaming out of respect).

5. No PK’ing clan members

Unless the fight is mutually agreed upon by both parties OR an event states that it is accepted.

6. Jagex T&C's

Please do not discuss or encourage any rule breaking within the game. Our group does not want to be associated with this and if you are unfamiliar with in-game rules, please read up on them.

How come your Discord has an OSRS & an Rs3 Section?


Vikings as a clan exists both on Osrs and on Rs3. The Discord server is shared by both however we do have dedicated channels & an admin team just for Osrs. You can mute any other channel you’re not interested in or who knows, perhaps find it inspiring to try out a little bit of Rs3 as well.

How do I join the clan?


Kindly jump onto our discord on discord.gg/vikings and once your application is accepted we will add you in-game.

Do you do inactivity checks? How do these work?


We realize that RS itself is just a game, and people have real lives as well. Sometimes, things happen, & you will need to take a break from the game. This isn't an issue, but we do appreciate being let known if you are going to be inactive from the clan for a significant length of time.

If a player appears to be inactive for at least a month they will become classed as 'MIA' (Missing In Action). They will be removed after 1-2 months if clan space is needed & we need to free up slots for active members. If a staff member is informed, you will not be removed.

It is important to note that leaving the Discord server on in-game clan will be treated as your official resignation. If this was done accidently, please let an admin know ASAP that it was a mistake.

What happens if I break the rules?


Breaking the rules will result in :-

• A verbal warning & anything after it will be an offence.
• 1st offence – 1 hour time out from the Clan
• 2nd offence – 1 day removal from the Clan
• 3rd offence – Kick/Ban from Clan & blacklisted

Offences will be handled case by case.
