Welcome to the Unthinking Majority forum! We're an open Social/PvM Clan dedicated to enjoying the game that has a fantastic community.




Welcome to the Unthinking Majority! We have been through a lot with our friendly group of scapers. From Illuminaughty, to Stealing Society, to Unthinking Majority, we have stuck together to create a positive environment that supports the goals of every play. We are composed of many different people, staying loyal to an idea of friendly & social scaping through our time in OSRS! We are a friendly, but mature, group that offer spontaneous & planned events when requested that supports all styles of play. Our focus is on our members, and always will be.

Rules of the Land



1. All JaGeX rules apply, no exceptions!

2. Do not beg for items in CC or in PMs. ALL item(s) borrowed must include equal Collateral.

3. Use appropriate Behavior and Word Choice.

4. Be wary of any sensitive topics of discussion.

5. Do not encourage/advertise staking.

6. Multi-Clanning:

UM should be the clan you prioritize your activity and affiliate yourself with. However, you may join and participate with another clan that specializes in PVP, Skilling, Mini-games, and Completionism. It is expected that an account you own remains ranked and is actively involved within UM.

If you remain inactive within UM for an extended period of time, it may result in your removal from the clan and discord - this will be up to the Moderation Team’s discretion. If you are unsure whether you may be breaking this rule, create a ticket in Discord and ask the Moderation Team.

7. Keep the clan chat clean and English only.


Important Reminders


* It's at your own discretion but take some caution on bossing with unfamiliar unranked members. Members that are due to be ranked will be asap by the Moderation Team.

* When PvMing, everything is split by default. Please decide accordingly with your team mates about split rules before proceeding to PvM, especially if you are an Ironman.

* Do not impersonate any moderators or other clan members. This applies to both in-game usernames and discord names. Any offensive names are subject to a warning and will not be permitted in cc until changed by the user.

Clan Application



What you need to do in order to get accepted and approved for rank:

1. Join the discord server: https://discord.gg/umcc
2. Follow the instructions in the #apply-info channel.
3. Proceed to your Discord DM's and agree to answer the questions.
4. Join in the clan chat as a guest while you wait to hear back on your application.

Once your application is reviewed, we will contact you via discord DMs or in-game to be added to the clan chat in game.

Note: Failure to follow these simple instructions may result in your application to be denied

Ranks


Sapphire - Trial Member

Trial Ranks are handed out to players who have completed the Application Process and have been accepted into UM CC.

Emerald
- Official Member

This rank is given to members who have shown interest in being part of the CC after 1 month. Lack of activity or presence as a trial member will extend their trial rank. A severe lack of interest and activity will lead to a full derank.

Ruby
- Reputable Member

To receive this rank, members have frequently bumped our forum and/or spread the word about our CC, shown activity in CC, and actively PvMs as well as attending events regularly with the clan.

Diamond
- Extraordinary Member

This rank is handed to and voted on by members of the moderation team and above. Sergeants have proven to us that they are loyal and trustworthy members. (Whether Sergeants have proven it to the Mod Team by splits, the initial time of being active to the present in CC, recruiting, etc)

Dragonstone
- High-standing and Respected Member

This rank represents the members that go above and beyond for the clan. They've shown consistent efforts in hosting events, mentoring, PvM, recruiting, and general activity while holding the attributes of all of the ranks of a Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald.

This rank is eligible with Diamond rank. These members have obtained and continue to keep pace with their 40 points via our point system made specifically for this rank. Details are revealed in Discord when Diamond rank is reached.

Ranks II


Vanguard
- Most Eminent Member

This rank is to recognize members who have a prominent presence in the community of UM CC. They have proven to be a great mentor, eventmeister, and/or role model while possessing all the qualities of a Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald.

They have also proven to be very knowledgeable about the game and exhibits this by continuously being active within our clan. (Whether they’ve proven it to us by hosting successful events, mentoring fellow peers in PvM, or being very savvy in clan-affairs etc.)

Lieutenant
- Member of the Moderation Team

Lieutenants moderate the chat and give out advice whenever you may have a question. If you have a concern, let them know via private messages or get their attention in the chat. If chat is out of line, they’ll be the first to make sure the CC gets calm with warnings, so respect their warnings or you’ll be kicked. Diamond ranks are eligible to apply for this rank via discord.


Captain
- Member of the Administration Team

Captains go the extra distance for moderator decisions within the CC and help with any administrative decisions. They were once bronze stars and have worked their way, helping with our community to get the rank of silver. They are the second in command underneath our generals and will deal with issues concerning the moderation team as well.

General
- Current Leaders of the Clan

Generals handle all of the behind-the-scenes work and make this clan truly what it is for all of us. Any and all concerns can be brought up with them, and they will have the final word over any decision made. However, if they truly feel an issue is due to a clan member, they can initiate an executive punishment and dismiss a clan member from the clan.

Clan Discord


We have a very active clan discord that also hosts our application process. It is required to be in our discord if you want to maintain a rank in the clan as we use Discord to communicate with everyone more effectively.
