SoulBane's History

SoulBane has an extensive 10+ year history as a well-rounded, international, community-driven clan. Never completely able to stick to one strain of activity, the clan has learned to spread out and master a wide variety of activities throughout the game. We have players across Old School RuneScape and RuneScape3, with active Clan Chats and Discord servers for both our communities.

We host several weekly events in OSRS ranging from PvM, PvP, and Social-focused. Our in-game CC has several pop-up and daily PvM trips. Current popular bosses include, but are not limited to the following: Corporeal Beast, God Wars Dungeon, Nightmare, Chambers of Xeric, Theatre of Blood, etc. If you're looking to have fun and make some friends while gaming, you've come to the right clan

From its origins in the warring community to weekly PvM events, SoulBane has left its mark in a wide portion of RuneScape. Staying as one of the most active clans of its time, the clan attracts a highly enthusiastic and self-driven player base who complete the SoulBane experience.

However, it all had to start from four players talking to the Scribe in the Clan Camp- probably one of the most under-acknowledged achievements of any successful clan. Sometimes, history is worth more than the potential; if sound advice from the past can fall on deaf ears, the best of the best can be blinded and robbed of a breathtaking future.

SoulBane's Origins

The clan was founded on April 19, 2011 shortly after the release of Clan Camps in RS3. The founders were very familiar with the classic Wilderness, Clan Wars Arena, and F2P PvP/PK'ing and brought that experience into the new clan world. They shared a motto, which would help them tackle the hardest trials without hesitation.

SoulBane started as a community clan, open to all players. However, with their introduction and newly found interest in Rated Clan Wars, the clan started to transition into a hub for warriors. Soon, SoulBane started adding requirements to limit recruitment to high skilled soldiers. SoulBane flourished under a strong leadership and fierce competition in the clan world.

With the changing tides of RuneScape2/3 updates such as Evolution of Combat and the introduction of Old School RuneScape, SoulBane has both evolved and stayed the same. SoulBane is still recognizable today from veterans who have come and gone from over a decade ago, even if the game has changed. This enduring community and atmosphere has been shaped by every member who has come through SoulBane's doors.

Why Join

People flock to play RuneScape and Old School RuneScape for many reasons. But, what keeps players coming back? We have asked new and veteran players alike, and one answer is always mentioned--the online community they have come to find a home in, SoulBane. Sometimes just playing the game or bankstanding while chatting with friends across the world simply transcends the game itself into something more. You can truly have a fulfilling experience in SoulBane that you would never even think would happen in a game.

We have hosted so many traditional and unique events that it is hard to recount them all. Rest assured, we host all types of events for any kind of player, be it skillers, maxers, PvPers, PvMers, social, etc. Examples of these events include, but are not limited to:

- Skilling competitions
- Hide and Seek
- Wilderness Hunger Games
- Karaoke / Event watch parties

How to Join

This clan application is the template for you to use if you wish to join SoulBane. All you have to do is submit an application and an admin+ clan member will review your application to see if you will fit in SoulBane. Our admins+ will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed up your recruitment, simply join us as a guest to get someone to approve your application. Also, feel free to join our discord server and get to know our community!
