Introduction


Welcome to Iron Forged. We are an established ironman only clan looking for players who want to hang out and have a fun time. Whether you're a skiller or a PvMer, or just looking to socialize with some cool people, you'll find a place for yourself within our ranks.

We created the clan on August 11th 2022 and are happily growing a strong and diverse ironman community. Our goal is to create a friendly community that provides opportunities for our members to PvM, engage and socialize.

Are you new to PvM? No worries! We have some great teachers for PvM content and much more. So if you're new to raids or whatever your PvM taste is, we have people who do most of the content available to OldSchool Runescape.

How To Join


Joining requires a short application process that takes place within our discord server. The application is just a formality to ensure that all our members stay up to date on clan activities.

Rules


- Discord is required for all members.

- Your discord name must match your runescape username.

- No advertising or NSFW content (including profile pictures, statuses, banners, etc.)

- Follow all Jagex rules explicitly. This clan will not condone promote or allow any activities that are against the Jagex rules.

- By default, all pvm splits done throughout the clan will be assumed as FFA. This is due to the fact that since our clan is ironman only some members might not have a main. You or others are allowed to split on your own accord but must discuss this beforehand.

- Buying/Selling items from or to unranked GIMs will NOT be permitted. If you are found to have participated in the act of buying/selling items, you will be removed from the clan.

- Clan hopping for the purpose of attending events (such as bingo) is not permitted.

- No political commentary. This includes topics of religion, sex, creed, or any other political views or contentious subjects. While we respect your right to your opinion, we are here to play a game and it's absolutely not needed in a clan setting. There will be a zero tolerance on this if pushed.

- No flaming or drama inside our clan chat or discord. Banter is allowed we all like to have a good time but please do not try to anger other members in the clan. We want this to be a place everyone feels welcome in!

- Only use English in the clan chat and the discord server.

- No PKing other clanmates unless it's an event or an agreed fight.

- If you change your name, post the change in the discord channel #name-rank-change.

- If you are inactive for over a month with less than 100k experience gained and have not posted your absence in #absence-notice, we will remove you from the clan in game in order to free up space for

Ranking System


Iron Forged has a two tier ranking system. Every member within the clan has their own clan ranking that is tied to in game progress and achievements (xp, boss kc, clues). We use a discord bot to determine how many points you have earned. Iron Forged also has a rank structure specifically for its leadership and teams. Any Member of Iron Forged can apply to join one of these teams and volunteer their time to help further the clan, please use the ticket system to apply. We view participation within these teams to look for future leadership within Iron Forged.

Events


We are always running events throughout the week. Whether it be minigames, bossing, or skilling, there is something going on for everyone. On top of our regularly scheduled events, we also have the occasional skill or boss of the week. Bingo events throughout the year allow for team building/bonding and bring out our competitive side.
