The Def CC
is a old clan crafted for defence pures.
It was created in 2014 built upon the origins of a clan called "Def Commune".

The clan has been a home to defence pures for several years now and we are
trying to make sure we stay this way traveling into the future.
We have experienced all the updates that has formed the meta for defence pures.
From serpentine launch, to serpentine nerf.

We are proud of our members, and have a huge list of great achievements in our clan.
Our members are by far the highest levled defence pures in the game, and we can offer
very high knowledge about every aspect of a defence pure.

With all this knowledge that our members can supply, we are able to offer new members all the information they need to progress and get where they want at a efficient rate.

Here in the clan we differ the ranks based on your defence level, Total level, Slayer level.
Since defence pures with a few attack/strength levels exist we have also taken that into consideration.

Even though we are a defence pure based clan, we still allow everyone to gain the friends rank. As you can see on the chart, it does not require you to be a defence pure.

01 - No RWT of any sort is allowed in the cc.
02 - No insulting/flaming/spamming in the cc.
03 - No excessive swearing.
04 - Respect everyone in the clan chat.
05 - We would appriciate if you keep political/religious subjects out of the chat.
06 - Try to use common sense and act as an mature human being.
07 - No multiclanning (service/secondary clans as an exception).

Q: How long does 1-75 defence take?
A: It can take anywhere between ~150-750 hours depending on your training method.


Q: What gear should I use to train?
A: When it comes to gear, theres alot of important factors to take into consideration.

- How AFK you want the training to be.
- Are you willing to use potions which is going to need a bit more attention?
- Can you afford certain gear that will raise you strength bonus to a new max?
- Please give people information about this whenever you ask in the cc.

To hit 2s, you want a strength bonus of 43 or above.
To hit 3s, you want a strength bonus of 51 or above, and you also have to repot super strength every minute so your strength level keeps a temporary 6.

When either of the above is reached, and you cannot reach a new maxhit with the gear you have available, you want to focus attack bonus instead of strength bonus for better rates.
Also remember that STR bonus>attack speed>attack bonus.

Q: What monsters should i train on?
A: Many people like to say Monks is the most viable option, but that is just a myth.

Monks are definately very afk, but not the best xp rate.
And now i will tell you why.

Monks has a defence level of 3, and 0 defensive bonus in each melee style.
Rock crabs/Sand crabs has a defence lvl of 1, and 0 defensive bonus in each melee style.
Seagulls has a defence level of 1, and -42 defensive bonus in each melee style.

This means that Seagulls is the most viable option if you want to go for the highest xp rates.
But since Seagulls have a very low HP ranging from 6-10 hp, they are quite intense as you kill them pretty fast. Therefore many people might consider the AFK rock/sand crabs to be a better choice.
