We are excited to introduce to you the After Work Lounge, a community where you can come to relax and unwind with a group of enjoyable, mature, social players. It is a player base focused on removing the toxic environment inside the OSRS community and dedicated to helping one another. Our dedicated staff is motivated in maintaining meaningful relationships in game to ensure that everybody has an enjoyable and fulfilling gameplay experience. We focus primarily on the attitude and good moral judgement in our community rather than a large player base to keep the overall mood of the group as positive as possible.

Social


Our primary focus is to build relationships and maintain a positive and safe environment for our members to thrive in. We have a diverse age range and a variety of nationalities all with one goal in mind. We have plenty of members who are talkative, are more than willing to assist others. We also have a very willing staff who dedicates their time to the comfort and happiness of the clan!


Skilling


Our members seem especially keen to our previous skilling based events! We do not discriminate against total, or combat levels. Many of our members do not have the combat level to pvm on a regular basis. So we love to have skilling/social based events to boost moral and include all members!


PVM


Our more advanced combat members have an extensive knowledge of high and low level bossing who are always excited to pass on what they know to anybody interested! We have scheduled and impromptu bossing events to include anybody who is able to attend. We are here to achieve wealth, share goals and achievements and highlight notable mentions for first timers and those who find wealth!


PVP


We have a few casual PVP members with basic knowledge. We encourage every aspect of the game and will assist with the learning curve if this is what you find interest in! We do, however request that you keep staking out of the clan chat and on your own time.

Escape the typical OSRS atmosphere


We have members in all stages of the game from those concerned with maxing their stats, to our casual gamers, to those who are just starting to get the hang of it! We enjoy the company of any and all members not based on their RSN but who they are as a person! We host a Discord channel which is entirely optional but encouraged! Discord is an off site voice or text channel that is completely safe and they NEVER compromise your IP address, but the best part is, it's free! Being able to voice with other members helps make the people more real and help understand one another out from behind the keyboard! We encourage everybody to share their goals, stories, funny moments, and even an off topic section to share our real world experiences! If you are still uncomfortable with the idea of Discord, Search it on Google or Youtube to familiarize yourself with it!

The main point is that everyone is treated equally and is respected as a member of our community. We do not discriminate against any player as long as they meet our high standards of morals, honor and integrity. We strive to conduct ourselves as leaders of the community and lead by example. Our community will always maintain the highest level of respect to one another and will enhance the gameplay experience for all of those involved!

The clan leadership is focused on encouraging supportive behavior and to ensure positivity and maintaining the safety and happiness of the members. Leadership is to be respected when addressed as should all members. But everybody is to be treated with the upmost equality!

The chain of command system is used here. If there is a minor problem that can be easily addressed inside the cc, please contact a moderator. However if the problem progresses, one of the leaders may become involved. If you have a concern with one of the moderators, feel free to contact one of the leaders and any concern will be investigated thoroughly and objectively.

Please respect all staff members as some situations can prove tedious or difficult to maintain. If a member is found to have abused a staff member in any way, it may result in an immediate removal.

Our ranking system is as follows:


Sapphire - New Member
Emerald - 1 Month Member

Ruby - 3 Month Member
Diamond - 1 Year Member

Dragonstone - 2 Years Member
Onyx - 3 Years Member


If you are inactive for an extended period of time without notifying a staff member beforehand, you may be subject to removal for inactivity.

Staff positions are carefully chosen after a member has tenure of at least three months in the clan. These considerations will be based on attitude, activeness, and willingness to assist other members.

Other aspects will be taken into consideration while being eligible to rank up, they are as follows:

Participation

Activeness in the chat
Helpfulness/Kindness to other members
Activity in discord (Optional)

Bossing

Confirmation of splits during bossing events (No scamming)

Recruitment

(Optional) Recruiting new members that are a positive influence to the clan

Bumping

Bumping our forum is essential to reaching out to others with our interests. Bumping is required on an occasional basis by all members.

This is an adult based community and we should treat each other as such. Cussing is a part of every day conversation, however there are certain situations and remarks that we deem unacceptable for the chat both in game and in Discord.

In short:


Derogatory, racial and discriminatory remarks are unacceptable.

Cussing is fine, but please do not be excessive.

Please keep sexual innuendos and remarks to yourself.

We strongly discourage the discussion of drug use, politics, and religion. Please keep it to private messages if you want to have these discussions with a clan mate.

Please do not break or encourage the breaking of Jagex rules.

Please do not regularly cause negativity in the chat.

Scamming members will result in immediate removal and will be marked on Runewatch and clan alliance.

If you have a problem with another member, please use the chain of command and bring the concern up to your immediate above staff member. If you have a concern with a staff member, please bring it up to their respective superior so we can bring any conflicts to a close as quickly and as efficiently possible. If these situations manifest they will be handled on a case by case basis.

Guests


We encourage everybody to come and guest our clan chat as much as possible.
To do so simply navigate to the guest clan tab (teal smiley faces) and join "AWLCC"
. Guests may request others in the cc to assist them in bossing, questing, or other situations (
THIS WILL BE DONE AT THE MEMBERS OWN RISK
) however it is encouraged that our members refrain from doing so as these guests have not been vetted or assessed properly.

Begging


Our staff and other members are anxious and willing to help each other in every way possible. However, it is against our policy here to ask or beg other members for assistance in regards to monetary gain. Often times, this will result in a warning from staff members and if it continues, may lead to possible removal from the clan.

Trust Trading


It is not unheard of for members to trade amongst theirselves to help one another further their game experience such as master quests, bossing essentials, etc.. On many occasions we have had success with these trades in the aspect that members can trust one another. However, for the few times that something does not go as planned, we recommend that you always receive some sort of collateral for any of these trades and members should do their do diligence and screenshot any of their dealings with confirmation that the item(s) will be returned in a timely manner. Any member who scams another out of trades like this will be dealt with swiftly and be subject to a report to RSJ.
