Welcome to the recruitment page of the Wilderness Guardians

Founded in 2003 by His Lordship, we are the oldest clan on OSRS. We welcome to our recruitment page all those interested in

PvP, PvM or those just looking for a great community!

So what makes WG unique and why should you join?

Along with our major testimonials, here are eight suggestions we hope will persuade you:

Honour

We carry ourselves with respect, both on and off the battlefield. We do not flame others, cheat during wars or spy on other groups. We play fairly, whatever we are doing. Our maturity is second to none.

Community

We could not survive for over sixteen years without our strong community. In WG you are welcomed not just as some pixels but as a real person. As a result, we have attracted thousands of members, male and female, from all over the world during our existence. Some of our members have even felt compelled to meet in real life!

Stability

WG is the oldest clan left on OSRS. Our Founder His Lordship has decreed that WG will never close. This creates a base for stability within the clan. We have overcome many obstacles during our history and adapted to the many changes within the game.

Strength of Arms

We have a history of bloody battles and deadly wars that few clans can match. We are frequently engaged in battles and PK trips of all types.

Freedom

WG is a social clan. You have the freedom to play the game as you like and when you like. For example, if you prefer PvM to PvP this is no problem. Our members have a broad range of interests and we will never force you to attend an event you do not like.

Prestige
We are a well-known clan. We have been featured more than any other clan on the website and have had numerous J-Mod testimonials. We've also had many viral videos, our top four being: "Can I have 10k?", "The Wilderness Biography", "What Regular People Think of RuneScape" and "Why RuneScape is dying".

Events

We know the importance of giving our members the broadest possible experience. As a result, we have a huge variety of events and competitions both in and outside of the Wilderness. We have dedicated Eventmasters who will ensure a wide range of optional events take place. Alternatively, easily host your own event!


Guidance

We value experienced and inexperienced players alike. We embrace the chance to teach players new skills, whether that is PvP, PvM or something else entirely. Our requirements are proof of our commitment to this.

To join the Wilderness Guardians simply visit our offsite and post a short application, details are below. Alternatively, join "WG" clan chat or our discord and ask for help. Our discord server has a dedicated channel #joining_WG to provide you with simple instructions on how to join our clan!

OSRS Requirements

General level requirements: none, although it is strongly recommended that you are over 100 combat level or are likely to be very shortly, a lot of our events are tailored towards end game content and our initiate guardians are a core component of our clan - we wouldn't want anyone to miss out!

Suggested for PvP: 105+ Combat with 85+ Magic and 85+ Ranged

Suggested for PvM: 100+ Combat

Brothers and sisters! I am Ghost Sabre, current leader of the Wilderness Guardians. As a dedicated ally of WG in early RS2 and beyond as a member and leader of The Sabres, I have fought and laughed alongside His Lordship and the legendary Wilderness Guardians for decades. When I returned to RuneScape seven years ago, seeking out the Wilderness Guardians was my immediate priority.
