RS3 Open Altar Sticky: 154-155-132-64104428

I believe the introduction expresses my welcome enough. Anyways, this is- as mentioned in the title- the official open altar sticky for 07 altars. When you decide to open your altar, please use this template below:

Name: Your RSN, of course
World: What world you'll be on
Duration: Roughly how long you plan to be open
Location: Where your house is at
Details: What your house offers

Using this template will allow trainers to quickly scan through and pick out the essentials that they need to know.

Here are some FCs you may want to check out during your experience training your prayer. Also, for hosts, you may want to check these out to better your knowledge of hosting.

- - [ 07 Altar ] FC - -

Purpose: This FC is primarily focused on Gilded Altars in Yanille; furthermore, they work towards bettering the housing community.

- - Recommendations for players - -

Here are some of the recommendations I have for all you prayer trainers out there.

#1 - Train at Yanille. This is currently the most popular area to train, as it has a close bank, and many hosts prefer to host here.

#2 - Teleports. Here are a few options when using teleports to train prayer:
--- I: Using house teleport tabs to teleport to the house, and ring of duellings to teleport to either castle wars, or another close bank of your choice.
--- II: Using house teleport tabs to teleport to the house, and using the mounted glory next to the altar to teleport to Edgeville, or another close bank.

#3 - If you're uncertain, be sure to join one of the FCs mentioned above. They both are very helpful when you are looking to further your knowledge of how to maximize your prayer efficiency.

#4 - Watch a quick YouTube guide before training, so you know the basics.

- - Recommendations for hosts - -

#1 - When hosting, remain in a FC. Here are a few quick reasons why:
--- I: When another host gets a door troll, they can tell you, before they come to your house, and vice versa.
--- II: This way, you have an easy way of knowing who's open, and communicating to them. You can see what they do, to better your house.
--- III: It can be boring, at times. This way, you can socialize with people that may not be in your house.

#2 - Watch a few guides, and talk to a few hosts, before you step up to the mound. It's rather embarrassing when you open, yet don't know which herb it is you need to light.

#3 - Going along with #2, make sure you know what to do when trolls enter. It's inevitable that you'll have someone close your doors repeatedly, which is called a door troll. Make sure you're able to deal with whatever comes at you.

.. ..::;;;`·,¸¸¸,·´`·,¸¸¸,·´;;;::.. ..

- - FAQs for prayer trainers - -

Question - Why train prayer?
Answer - Prayer provides a wide range of benefits in combat situations, from giving a boost in accuracy, to protecting yourself from melee attacks, to enabling your dosage of pots to last 15% longer.

Question - What is the mounted glory for?
Answer - This enables prayer trainers a quick, and free, teleport to a close bank, which allows them to speed up the prayer training process.

Question - Where do I find an altar??
Answer - Altars are all over the place! There is no set world, yet,- fingers crossed- so they're on various worlds, but mostly in Yanille. You can try the FC above, and you can usually get a response.

- - FAQs for house hosts - -

Question - What would you suggest my house set-up to be?
Answer - For a more detailed response, I'd suggest looking on YouTube. My suggestion would be a north altar, with a glory to the west of the altar; simple, yet works.

Question - Why do people not come to my house?
Answer - This could be for 2 reasons. One is that you need to have your private "On" for people not on your Friends List to be able to enter. The second is that no one know you're open; therefore, I recommend you join one of the 2 FCs mentioned above, and hire an advertiser, or share that you are open.

Question - Why do I have to go back and forth to the bank each time to get more herbs?
Answer - You don't; there is a simple solution to this problem. Have your butler next to you, and the noted clean marrentils. Use them on the butler, press "1" and enter the amount you would like un-noted, and brought back to you.

¸· * * ·¸. Bone Exp Chart ¸· * * ·¸ [ Post 5 ]
.. ..::;;;`·,¸¸¸,·´`·,¸¸¸,·´;;;::.. ..

The most common bone used are dragon bones. These are relatively cheap, compared to the other bones, whilst providing good exp. A common, cheaper alternative to dragon bones are infernal ashes. These provide slightly less exp; however, they are cheaper in the long run then dragon bones.

Now that you know a little bit about the which bone seems most suitable, see [ Post 5 ], you can start buying the bones of your choice, and begin your road to 71, 95, or maybe even 99! So you might be wondering what you should wear, bring, do. etc. Here is a quick, common guide that prayer trainers use.

- - Gear - -

Headgear: N/A
Amulet: N/A
Cape: Spottier Cape ( Optional )
Arrows: N/A
Weapon: N/A
Body: N/A
Shield: N/A
Legs: N/A
Gloves: N/A
Boots: Boots of Lightness ( Optional )
Ring: Ring of Duelling

- - Guide - -

Requirements: 50 construction ( have your house in yanille ), extra money for teleports ( house teleports and ring of duelling (8)s

• Grab bones.
• Teleport to your house ( make sure it sets you outside the portal )
• Click on the portal, press "3", then type a host's RSN
• Use the bones on the Altar.
• Wait..
• Still Wait..
• After those have been used, then go to your gear set-up, and teleport, using the ring of duelling ( recommended location is Castle Wars )
• Repeat

[ Note ]: If you'd like to use the mounted glory, simply click on that instead of teleporting with the ring of duelling. This saves a Mil or 2 :)
