Vardorvis highlights some things about Runelite and Jagex's game development that is really becoming obnoxious. You can do Vardorvis without the 'Better NPC Highlight' plugin, but it makes it so much easier to see things visually on the screen, and with such a fast-paced boss, it highlights what is going wrong with Runescape. It's progressing into faster and faster tick-perfect "axe-skipping" nonsense, taking advantage of things you actually can't see visually on the screen without deep study of videos and Wiki. I've killed Vardorvis 30 times over the past couple of days, so I'm not great, but Vardorvis highlights not a problem with Osmumten's Fang at all; Not At All! There is no problem with Osmumten's Fang on this boss, but what Vardorvis does however highlight are problems with Jagex's game design against Runelite's cheat codes. The boss is fun and challenging, don't get me wrong, but there are so many problems with it that it's become an illogical mess which Runelite's 'Better NPC Highlight' plugin seeks to address. The amount of things happening at once toward the end of the fights becomes unmanageable at times, especially when 3 axes spawn on one side of the arena. There is no place to hide (technically) but I presume there is an "axe skip" that somehow takes advantage of invisible hitboxes that exist for 1 tick here or there.
Hope I made sense to you in this relaxing medieval woodcutting simulator sandbox game.
