I just logged onto a RuneScape secure site and after logging in, I got a notification from my bank that an unauthorized charge was put on my card. When I went to log into the game, I had been locked out. I was able to get my account back and change the password and PIN but when I logged on, all of my valuable items in game were stolen.

I am looking for a way to get in contact with a Game Master to look into the account and have them take a look and see that while I was at the GE, I got hacked and all my items stolen.

Can someone please help me and figure out what to do?

Thanks,
Flappy822

That "secure log in" was in fact, someone else's site. You just gave away your account. Try checking out tech forum to see if someone there can help. Unfortunately, they do not give back stuff that was stolen.

Also, they are not called "game masters". They are jagex moderators, or jmods for short.

That sucks im sorry to hear that. A note for the future The ONLY emails i ever get from jagex are when i buy membership telling me they got my money. Ive gotten quite a few scams over the years including.

FPS Version of RS.
Test new features.
Warning about being banned for botting or some such.

Jagex will message your Rs Account for most things you will see that message when you log into the game. (2 unread messages) ect.

Sorry again to hear about this, its pathetic how people hack on a frigging dying MMO.
OSRS - Filled with harassers sad...~
- Give me Private Hiscores this should not be public information! - ! REMOVE OSRS TAX !

Sounds like you fell for a phishing scam since you believed it to be a legitimate website.

Do ensure at this point that you secure and change all your passwords and clearly jot down any linked accounts they could potentially compromise and secure those too.

As mentioned above there's not a whole lot that can be done at this point beyond that.

All the best going forward and ensure you're using the new Jagex accounts for better security as well! :)
