Server lag and disconnections

Is anyone else experiencing random connection issues with osrs servers lately? Does not matter if i am on mobile and actively playing or on the pc. last couple weeks I have been experiencing random disconnections. I have asked a couple friends who also play and have said they have experienced the same thing. Today (3/14/23) around 4pm EST we were all getting disconnected and experiencing lag. With the friends i have asked 2 out of the 3 of us work in IT and have tried the standard troubleshooting and we are both fairly positive its not our ISP also consider we live in different states. We are only experiencing this issue in game and I noticed the website seems sluggish at times especially as i tried to login to make this very post/thread. So it seems that runescape is the common denominator

So i guess my questions are

1. is anyone else experiencing this issue?

2. does anyone know whats causing it?

3. is Jagex aware of the issue?

Jagex had put up something over the weekend when they noticed there were some intermittent network connectivity issues.

There doesn't appear to be anything up on their game status page for today, though there were other outages around the internet today (example, Reddit has been offline for a bit) so its possible a wider issue is at fault this time.

It's entirely possible that is the case for today, I opened a couple of cyber threat maps around 6pm est when my group of friends and i kept getting disconnected and saw some activity there that could explain it. but idk hard to say that activity explicitly affected rs servers. I just know i feel like I've been getting randomly disconnected more and more lately starting a few weeks back.
