I have a question that I imagine seems really silly but I've only really just started playing OSRS seriously, despite having known and tried it since I was a lad.
I'm curious mostly, about how big a difference armor offensive and defensive stats make. in this case, I'm wearing xerician robes, but I'm mostly just wondering if specific armor lends to specific situations? I notice that stats often revolve around the combat triangle and the specific "class" of armor.
Would it, as a early-mid pve combat player make much difference to wear something with no melee or ranged defense in a fight against a melee or ranged centric boss or high level monster?
sorry again if this seems silly. just trying to understand what i should focus on in combat.
