Glitch or osrs has been hacked

I was in the camp with the band just east of the castle called Kingstowns. When I was there I noticed that there was some basket I can search. When I right clicked the fish barrel it had an option to search it. I searched the apple basket in the camp and went to search the fish barrel but I couldn't. Somehow it changed from search to examine and I don't know how. I was on world 306 at ~11:55am GMT (west usa). Is this a glitch or did I do something to change it?!
