Hello this is boubani and failboats, but you can call us emily and alexander.

Alex is posting what I want to say because my account is new and I'm not allowed to post a thread yet so he's typing what I have to say on these matters of I.portance just incase you're confused why I'm messaging on his account it is not entirely so I am beside him and he is posting on my behalf!

We are a couple who share runescape together.

Alexander has played since 2006 and myself am a new player as of a few weeks ago.

The moment I played this game my experience became valuable feedback to the game says Alex.

I'll have to be honest I made it wrong that I didn't like the grind of the game.

But my lovely husband Alexander aka failboats showed me that what I felt was actually a gift.

I started to feel connected to the game for the first time because I wasn't making myself play the game, I felt to challenge it too and bring to life what I want out of the game.

So Alexander said that I should post it here what I want out of the game.

Following this post will be a free space to put our (ours and yours the reading players) imagination into the game and maybe we can draw some fantastic ideas that will bring out what is already in the game and just needs some support to come to life!

Post here and let's build on our imagination because as long as we just stay with what's in the game it will slowly box us into it and the game is meant atleast in my eyes to be a place of possibility too to really put the sense of adventure in the game.

Okay so here are some ideas I've had following my expectations and what actually happened..

Firstly I wanted to make a cake! It was 40 cooking and I had to grind to get to it which is fine because I was so looking to give a cake to someone. I even had to do trade restrictions requisites to be able to give the cake . Fine! I want that cake to share!

So I did the work and without further ado I gave someone a cake and the experience was so disappointing they just took it and ate it.. I didn't get to see them eat it or even share it with them.. even the very cooking of it was disappointing.. I wanted to visually see everything and the emotes just didn't show any of it..

I would love there to be more attention given to sharing food. I get that we don't need to eat other than to replenish health or advance our stats but imagine a sharing food development in the game where you could even share a picnic with others! So much food in the cooking skill could be useful for socialising and spending time with others if more animation was given to actually doing it! Not everything has to be about a quests or for healing purposes or exp.. if this was done then so many food items would come to life in the game! And this would create a foundation to make friends out of the fun of it and I feel more new players would want to play.

I wanted to turn a bones to banana and the same thing happened I don't want to be left to my imagination around it.. I would love this spell to have an emote adequate to turning it into a banana and also I'd love to see myself eat a banana! I mean who would eat a banana just to heal! I wanna peel not heal!

I feel I have more ideas but I just wanna start out small. I'm not asking for another game. I like this game, I just want to socialise with others so bad, it will make the grind worth it's effort if the skills I achieved served a purpose to bridge my gameplay to be shared with others not just in an exp way but to awaken more of the play exchange we can have when we're sitting around in our breaks from our goals of grind.

I'm sure I'm mot the only one who feels this way and those who are playing purely solo will be okay with this aspect but isn't this game mmorpg?

Alex showed me the wizard, the warrior and the ranger and the monk in lumbridge swamp camping at a fire with their food kettle and on a quest together and I felt like that's the symbol for me for this game. But what I'm seeing is them all divided from eachother. If all we have is the grand exchange then we are united by a system for our solo play. I'm not saying grt rid of it I'm just saying if you're going to have the grand exchange then there needs to be enough game play that gets us to have to see purpose in interacting and being with eachother. I only see the problems of botting and rwt increasing if we continue to support grind only based game play.

Right now I'm smithing iron armour and bringing it to lumbridge cowfield and goblins and giving new players armour that ive personally made myself. It's so fun to see how much a little support to a new player brings them to life in the game. There's so much we can already do if we just have a heart for it. If you wanna share your experiences of changing a person's gameplay for the better share here id love to hear what you've done!

Myself and my partner also play mostly together, we do all the quests together and most other stuff too.

As you've said the sharing of food is poor in the game, but I've done different bits.

We've played since 06. but only come back to osrs over the past couple of months.

But I'm still doing now what I used to do then which is pick up outfits and bits she can wear. I started off with Purple Ele, in this game because it was a major item back in the day, now not so much, but still nice to give it and see them wear it.

Then more purple stuff, there is a pattern. there now she has pirate boots, and top hats.

It's only with here, because we don't really talk to many in game as were mostly faming and herbing.

But if there was a group of us we could arrange a secret santa for outfits nearer christmas, then they could wear them for the day.
