Intentional or an oversight?

Nothing game breaking but just something that has caught my attention as of late. I've noticed that when smithing bodies/legs/skirts that the item itself is called a platebody/platelegs/plateskirt yet in the chatbox it is spelled out as two words. I believe the same thing happens when arrowheads and kiteshields but can't say for certain as it was mainly the other items I noticed this happening with. Was this something that was intentionally done or at one point were the item names changed but someone forgot to change how it appears in the chat box?

Can't answer your specific question but if you look at the patch notes every time theres a game update, grammatical changes like this are tweaked fairly often so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a small mistake.
