Anyone else having FC issues?

Can't seem to join friends chats besides my own or others that aren't used. I've tried multiple times to join a fc for nex and other activities that people use often like thievinghost, osrs nex ffa, etc. Just says attempting to join, and never joins. Others have been also having the same issue, so I was curious about how wide-spread this issue is and if anyone in Jagex knows about it.
