I have a serious complaint and question.

How is it possible that in, for example, the Revenants Cave there are 20-30 bots per world? These have been there for more than a year.
I've added some bots to my friends list and they haven't been banned yet after hours of bots a day for about 5-12 months since I tracked it.

The bots are getting better and nowadays even have high level bots that attack you and chase you away.
I used a 2nd account of combat 70 with which I attacked the bots. After this, they automatically teleported away. This was a laborious job, but this way I could play the game.
At the moment they sometimes don't even teleport anymore. In addition to the PVM script, they have a PVP script which makes them the best PKér. I managed to kill a few bots and they even had anti-hp weapons with them (all the same).
Because there are 3-4 bots per spot in the Revenant cave, you can no longer even attack a Revenant. I completely stopped because of this.

It is therefore no longer possible for a real player to play the game at this location. How is this possible? In the past I used a bot for a few hours (I still regret it) and this account was permanently banned after 1-5 hours of botting.

I just made a thread about this. I have seen bots with 20k boss KC. there are so many. zulrah bots, rev bots, RC bots, im training str right now at sand crabs and its all bots.

there are more bots than real players and its sad. I feel like jagex just doesn't even care. Its annoying to me how these bots all have 75 agility and can get away from my pure. If I were to train agility to 75 it would take me days because I dont have an auto clicker and am scared to get banned but theres no other way to kill them. its pathetic.

I think they certainly do care, but they don't do enough about it. There is also no response to my message.

They say they are working on it, but how can bots run for 5-12 months since I am tracking usernames? These bots are getting better and better and are now just chasing away the normal players. My PK account is just killed by their PK scripts. I stopped because I can't play the gameplay anymore.

if they respond to every message then they wont be able to do anything except responding to messages

just because you still see a few hanging around doesnt mean they arent doing anything.

hell, they could even be using those accounts to get better information on bots to create better detection.

I want to know about this message from Mod Sween months ago too. He claimed OSRS hired, or was hiring a person who (he thought) would fix the bot issues. He promised to come back and talk about what they would do. After MIA for a couple of month Mod Sween showed up in a livestream 17 days ago but didn't mention a word regarding the remedy to botting at all.

I'll think it will help if OSRS can at least tell the players who has the hired to fix the botting issue, right?

how would giving a name help?
knowing the persons name makes 0 difference.

they dont need to tell us whats going on asap. especially when 90% of is going to need to be secret. otherwise its useless

I didn't respond because I stopped playing Runescape. It's unplayable in the places I liked, unfortunately.

You are sending me a message from a Mod made 4 months ago. I find that even more worrying that someone was already working on it 4 months ago and it still hasn't been resolved.
I just logged in after 20 days and took a look at the Revenant cave and it is still full of highly advanced bots. Bots that kill you and chase you away and don't hop anymore. Nice Jagex. Players with 30+ mil ranged xp.

Please log in and take a look there and do the necessary ban work @JAGEX.

Rev caves is obviously low-effort rewards and of course a bot haven. You're doing content that's meant for bots to keep those people entertained and paying a sub, and it's 100% beneficial since it trickles down to regular players to continue buying up those botted items to fuel the circle of RWT, and paying Jagex a sub. Bots aren't going anywhere.

Go do the intended challenging methods to get whatever items you're trying to get and play the game. Or just admit you can't beat them and join them :p
