These tools usually have some <leader> key that highlights +annotates various interactable elements on the screen with keys you can type to perform an interaction. (See screenshot for example)
(Vimium)
(Homerow)
I'd love to develop a plugin that brings this control pattern to Runescape, but I'm not sure whether or not it would be considered macroing.
From what I've read this would be the opposite of macroing, where people typically try to reduce the number of user inputs to perform a game action.
The system I'm describing would require more user inputs to perform the equivalent action with a typical mouse, since multiple key-presses (chords) would be converted to single clicks.
Anyway, just interested to see if this is something anyone has thought about before or if there's been any official note about it. The last thing I'd want to do is spend a bunch of time working on a tool that could potentially get my account into trouble!

It seems like an interesting expansion of mousekeys.
However, even though it would require more input to result in a game output, to the game screen, the smooth, exact, mouse movement may appear very similar to a bot's mouse movement.
If you could create such a plugin for runelite, that would be incredible. But yeah, you might want to get in touch with some of jagex on twitter or something because it's in a really iffy spot.
