I see alot of varied ranged weapons out there i thought t bow was BIS but i never see anyone use it i figure the price. I see bow of fahaden thing whatever it is, z cbow and other various rng weps that hit pretty hard.

The OSRS team is manipulating prices of many items including tbows through GE tax and such. When they cancelled Ruinous Powers, they actually cited one of the reasons were the concerns of the prices of some items.

So even if tbows and such weren't actually BiS or used by too many players in the game, their in game prices might not represent the actual demands of the players.

I didn't mention this is a negative or positive thing, neither is OP's question about apparently.

OP asked why some seeming not BiS or not the most popularly used items have higher prices, I just told them the reasons.

Your post is clearly misinformation rather, as the OSRS team has acknowledged the reasons I quoted for the in game prices of certain older items.

PVE like slay, Bossing, PVP like soul wars not wildy pking, and inferno.

I currently still use TBP lol i tried crystal bow at SW and i barely hit with 99 rng and pots, i was thinking about getting heavy ballista but ive never seen anyone use like ever. Bow of faerdin thing seems to hit alot and high in PVP ive noticed so i might get that, i probably will never afford a tbow unless it REALLY crashes.

Hey Bruce!

I wanted to share my experience on ranged. I recently came off a hiatus and took the time to finish Song of the Elves. I have also made it to the point of starting the solo ToA. I can't speak any higher on how great the bow+set is & even the bow alone.

The bow & full crystal is a solid and hard-hitting set that can excel in many places in the game. It is worth the grind and can hold its ground in areas where even the Zcb and Twisted bow shine.

It is a less than 200M option that can compete with over 1B+ range items. Gune, Guly, August.
