When Mod Sween pleaded over a month ago in the last OSRS Jmod Livestream prior to the one today, he promised he would come back and talk more about a solution. He said OSRS has hired a community person to solve the bots issue.

I guess we will have to wait for Mod Sween to talk again, as he seemingly has been completely radio silent in all social media like Reddit since then.
