Are you sure the warning came from jagex? There is a scam where people are told that they were caught rwting and you have to log in, which results in you losing all your items.

A RWT warning message occurs after the account has received the benefit of a RWT. It usually means the account owner has unwittingly accepted RWT money from another player. You can thank whomever you borrowed the gp from for the warning.
If Jagex believed
you
bought the gp, they would have banned your account, not warned it. They can see the movement of the gp from RWTs. It's fairly easy for them to track.
