so i been using the wiki pretty much all day. then suddenly i looked something a few mins ago and my anti virus blocked it because of phishing. is the website no longer safe? or my anti acting up?

Not phishing but perhaps just some tracking cookies, especially when OSRS is so catered to marketing recently. In case if you don't notice, OSRS Wiki is now running adverts on the left side of their web pages, for commercial incomes to make themselves afloat.

I think we are prompted to allow just the cookies required for the OSRS website/forum though.

Are you using the real wiki or the fandom one? Fandom has been known to launch malicious adverts.
