My defender did not drop

I got my bronze defender, a long time ago. It shows in my collection log. However, it did not drop. I picked up the bones and nothing else was there. I have been back 6-8 times and killed about 200 cyclops. And a new defender does not drop. The character at the door mentions a bronze defender. Isn't there anything I can to move this along? seriously, this stinks. I am hamstrung and really unhappy. Having fun for most part

Did you make sure you talk to the lady so she actually starts spawning the defenders in? You have to go through a conversation with the lady guarding the door.

Other than the above, the usual issue is you are unlucky with the drops and just have to keep grinding.
