Hey PANDA_99,

I agree many players would love the chance to become a Player Moderator, but unfortunately there is no way to apply. Jagex is always looking out for new players to join their Player Moderator team, so the best thing you can do is to continue contributing to the community in a positive way and hopefully they'll take notice one day. I wouldn't sweat it if they don't. If anything, just continue reporting those bots and players breaking the rules! Although you may not have a crown to show for it, it truly makes a world of difference for everyone in the community.

The other problem is that only Jagex Mods can issues bans for botting and other instances of abuse in-game. So while player mods are able to temporarily mute players who are breaking rules around scamming/vulgarity/disruptions in the chat, anyone is able to report and ignore them, not just player mods. Although combat achievements or time played may seem like good ways of vetting potential candidates for this, they need to have other things in place to determine the best fit for the team. Things such as being a helpful or engaging in-game player, having integrity of game rules (and a clean account to show for it), contributing to in-game activities and events, etc.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Daylight :)
Good vibes and high tides.

first off, player mods are players first, they arent introduced to be rule enforcers, and this post seems to think thats all they are here for. to stand at ge and mute rule breakers.

i would recommend reading player moderators

and

https://runescape.wiki/w/Player_Moderator

secondly, you say about being amaxed player to be one? no this is terrible, mods shouldnt have to be maxed to be able to be one. player level has nothing to do with what player mods are.

there are currently roughly 1800-2000 mods they arent here to punish rule breakers. nor are they here to hop worlds to mute spammers.

also you left caps lock on, that does make it a lot harder to read your text for a lot of people.
