Trying to be courteous in game

This is more of a rant than anything else. I try to be as courteous as possible while playing the game. I make an attempt to not get in other people's way while they are training, skilling or what have you by hopping worlds. Lately though I can't say the same for other people, as over the past few weeks it has gotten to the point that I'm having constantly hop worlds to find places that aren't crowded or being crashed. I have been barraging in mm2 tunnels(yes I know it is a popular spot) and have had multiple people crash my area after being there for an hour or more, telling me to hop. Same can be said for other multi areas. I have also been doing slayer and people just have to setup cannons right beside where I am or start attacking the monsters that are around me, even though if they moved to the other side of the room where no one else is it would work out better for both of us. It has gotten to the point that I feel like I should start being extremely selfish and doing the same to other people but that just isn't the type of person I am. It is feeling like the days of the pleasant runescape community that I grew up with 20 years ago is gone and has been replaced with something that I barely recognize

This is more a rant about your entitlement than courtesy.

People are under no obligation to hop worlds or waste their time to accommodate strangers preferences. Just because you like to play on empty worlds on a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE GAME, doesn't mean other people do.

They pay jagex for a service. They can/will play wherever they want and if you don't like that then consider playing an offline solo game.

I understand your pain & commend you in your steadfastness to remain courteous. I made a compromise long ago.. I'll be courteous until infringed upon, after that it's open season & full Hog-Mode :) This is actually a good thing as it will fuel your need to get better with the mouse skill.

This has nothing to do with entitlement. People are under no obligation and I get that. I look at this like I would if I was paying for any other service such as a gym. If I am already doing something, don't come to where I am and try to force me away just because you feel like you need to be there. If someone asks I am more than willing to accommodate. Just forcing your way in is rude and unfortunately people these days forget their manners.

After I ignore them and they repeat the same demand multiple times, they will usually say "reported, hope you enjoy your ban". I asked them what would I be banned for and they say something like "for taking my spot".
