Since Jagex sees fit to stuff my bank with things I find useless (Clan Booster, for example), perhaps it's time to reward member loyalty with some affordable Bank Boosters.

There are 10 I have yet to purchase, and that comes to 3780 Runecoins, which I would have to think on quite a bit to even consider purchasing. But hey, keep throwing junk at me, and that'll FORCE me to buy stuff, right?

How exactly is jagex doing this?

AFAIK, the only way to get those is from buying them from sgs so that on you if you chose to buy them.

Jagex didn't log onto your acc and buy them for you. So since you did buy them, they aren't useless as why would you buy something that you don't plan on using?

So no support for more bank space.

You can also ask the wise old man (In Draynor) to check your bank for junk and remove it.

Im not sure where you live but I have done surveys for much of my runecoin
items both on this account and 3 others. I have gotten about 24k worth of
runecoins spread across those accounts.

You can buy bonds and redeem them for 195 runecoins each. OR wait
till sales last year they were on sale for a while.

I have 2 accounts to keep stuff on.. it gets hard to get membership for
both accounts but its a lifestyle choice as i love hoarding.

I would never waste my money on shit like that, but when the citadel update happened Jagex put 4 into my bank. I don't know what was their reasoning, but it did happen.

But other than that you're right one has to buy them one way or another to get them.

If you even read the update you wouldve known why you got them:

https://runescape.wiki/w/Anagogic_ort

These were made into a virtual currency with the 11 January 2016 update, but all existing orts still remained and could be converted. They were eventually made useless in an update on 30 July 2018, orts remained in bank and in currency pouch, and players were awarded clan citadel boosters depending on how many anagogic orts they had at that point, having 1,000–9,999 orts yielded one booster, having 10,000–49,999 yielded two, having 50,000–99,999 yielded three and having 100,000 or more yielded four. The limit of orts that a player could have at any time in storage was 200,000.
