Cloning dye would work like prismatic dye where you click an available cloning dye slot, then click anywhere on your character's current outfit in the preview window and the dye becomes that color. There would be a little box next to your cursor previewing the color that you're hovering over, then you'd click the spot to get a confirmation window. I've seen this capability in lots of graphical design software, I don't know how hard it'd be to implement in runescape. This would be a good idea because there are a lot of non-recolorable outfits with obscure color blends that are very hard to match even with prismatic dye (Looking at you Radiant Dawn armor with your blue/purple/grey arms and legs). This dye would make those non recolorable outfit pieces easier to incorporate into fashionscape outfits that have recolorable parts.

I tried out that tool you linked Lisaa and yes that is exactly it. Apparently the hsl code of the color I'm looking for is 46, 1, 33. It is unfortunate that we can't just type in those numbers when recoloring overrides. If we could do that then the dye I was describing wouldn't even need to exist because I could just use this tool to get the numbers. Maybe all we really need is a rework of the cosmetic override recoloring system.

Agreed, having HSL options instead of a color wheel would be so much better, and likely is very doable now that Java is phased out :) @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape
