Hey, I'm trying to get more information to see if it's possible for a keepsake untrimmed cape to be removed to attach a hood to the untrimmed capes and keepsake the untrimmed hooded cape. There is way too much misinformation out there and the time gaps and hotfix's mixed in with the fact untrimmed capes are in fact rare but it's even rarer for someone to risk losing an untrimmed cape. I have read many reddit posts and other sources none provided actual proof and the official wiki information on a cape being trimmed is not detailed it only states your capes are trimmed after 99's. The questions i would like answered are, is a cape normally trimmed in your inventory or on equip? does this also apply to the removal of a keepsaked untrimmed or do you have to equip it?
I am very tempted to get an alt account a single 99 cape just to keepsake it and test it after getting a second 99.. if anyone could provide some info please let me know
