I was confused what was discounted. I purchased an aura and no discount either. I wonder if they meant their merchandise store and put the advertisement on the Solomon's General Store tile?

Under the "Featured" heading, there is a sub-category called "Solomon's Sale". Click this to find the items which are discounted.
