So I have a bunch of this currency that is denoted by a sheild icon and supposedly for this Solomon store and yet I have never found a single item that actually accepts this currency as they all instead asks for runecoins?
My question is what purpose do these serve and why are they listed as currency for Solomon shop if the shop does not use them?

The link is inactive but I will try a google search for it.
That said I have spent hours checking items in this solomon store and nothing there accepts these as currency, does that mean I spend these elsewhere? Or is there a special setting in solomon to use these?
Well I found the place I spend them I was unaware I had to do it on a seperate website behind a log in but I found it. Unfortunately none of the items listed for these points actually take them other than color changes which have no value to me overall. The first item they advertised for points was bank space but when you look they are rune coin only.
So thank you for your help on this, it is just to bad runescape doesn't supply a single bit of info to new players and mocks them in tool tips with nonsense. As far as I can tell unless your 10 years in or more your lost.
Ha, all fair. Every master was once a beginner!

First it's worth mentioning that the entire Solomon's General Store is for the most part cosmetic.
I'm not sure if I understood your comment correctly but it seems that doesn't interest you too much.
The things on the Solomon's Store which have non-cosmetic in-game effects:
Bank Boosters (as you found)
Auras (these do cost Loyalty Points)
Legendary Pets (these cost Runecoins)
Auras are very valuable, so you should take a look at what you have enough to buy. Some common ones people pick up:
Wisdom (Tier 3) 2.5% increased XP gain for 30 minutes
Supreme Wisdom (Tier 4) upgrade of Wisdom which lasts 1 hour
Legendary Wisdom (Tier 5) final upgrade of Wisdom which lasts 1.5 hours
Penance (Tier 2) gain prayer points equal to 5% of lost health
Once you buy an Aura, you can use it as many time as you want, it just has a cooldown between uses.
In game, to activate an aura, open your aura management tab at the bottom of your Worn Equipment window.

It seems the auras are on in game loyalty vendors which I had no Idea were connected at all or existed . I had been using the Solomon store icon and the off game web site as directed by others so was shown a list of rune coin only items on the first and only dye for points on the second.
I found the loyalty vendor and auras by mistake doing thieves guild quests in Varrock and I'm just waiting till I find out where I get these points and how often to plan a purchase. Currently I have enough to get 1 of about half the options in the second to last tier.
