Curently I don't feel like the system for chameleon extract (SGS skin colour dyes) is very fair and is very clumsy. I purchased the green skin, because it goes with my character, but because if I change it to a normal skin colour from the Makeover mage's selection, I will lose my access to change my colour back to green (or whatever your colour is). This makes it really hard to dress up for fun now, as I have to keep my skin green to prevent loosing it.
What I suggest is that you have 1 (or 2) open colour slots at the Makeover Mage which you can assign a colour from the chameleon extract to be there permanently. That way you can have the freedom to change your skin again, but not lose the colour you bought. If you want another colour, you can buy a chameleon extract to change it.
That way people still buy it, but are not forced to keep that skin colour forever and be trapped!
