Hello and welcome to Iron Ordeal
! Our clan is an Ironman and Hardcore Ironman hub that participates in skilling, adventuring, and PVM oriented events. We would love to mentor newer ironmen and create a community free of toxicity. We aim to make our clan a fun place to make friends and hang out while achieving our goals. While the iron life may seem lonely, it doesn't have to be!

We currently have a
Tier 3 Citadel
and encourage you to cap and participate in events. It is not mandatory ( but will facilitate faster ranking ) and who knows, maybe you'll make some new friends if you do!

Clan Ideology

A good number of people think Ironmen are either toxic, elitist, or obsessive over gains and efficient gameplay. Our aim is to create a community that disproves the common misconception and harbors an environment where someone can make new friends, grow with them, and play at their own pace.


Please set your RuneMetrics to public to aid leadership in tracking your clan progress, this helps us recognize you for any accomplishments in game as well. Lastly, although not mandatory, we would love for you to join our clan Discord server so we can provide you with more satisfying and engaging experience! We cannot post any external links but if you would like the link you can ask for it in our clan chat or add/message

CLAN RULES




1.
All Jagex rules apply and must be followed.

2.
If a clan member is told by leadership to drop a topic of discussion and fails to do so, the clan member(s) are subject to receive an official clan offense.

- While political, religious, or other sometimes controversial talk is not explicitly banned in the cc, you should understand that you're talking in a chat with many people of different cultures, origins, histories, etc. at a single time. Please be aware and think about what you're saying before you say it.

- If a clan member becomes uncomfortable with any topic of discussion in the clan chat, that clan member should ignore the clan chat and privately alert a member of leadership.
- If a clan member has/claims to have leadership on “ignore” they are still held to the official rules and enforcement process.


3.
Any clan member found to be maliciously/intentionally harassing, offending, belittling or starting arguments with others inside the clan chat is subject to receive an official clan offence.

4.
Any clan member found to be using slurs or hate speech of any kind is subject to receive an official clan offence.

5.
Any clan member found to be deceiving, manipulating or extorting other players for personal gain are subject to receive an official clan offence.

3-STRIKE RULE




Offenses will result in a 24-hour mute while leadership convenes on the matter.


-
First time offenders
are subject to a 24 hour mute from the clan chat and warning from a member of the leadership team.

-
Second time offenders
are subject to another 24 hour mute from the clan chat and final warning from a member of the leadership team.

-
Third time offenders
are subject to removal from the clan.


Depending on the severity and/or consistency of the offence, clan members in violation of this rule are subject to immediate removal and/or a ban from the clan if deemed appropriate by the leadership team.


We are not aiming to silence or censor peoples opinions, thoughts or views; we are trying to provide a community free of toxicity . These strikes will not be handed out on a whim and are reserved for serious events of breaking the clan rules.

CLAN RANKING SYSTEM


Iron Ordeal uses a ranking system that is based on points and there are a many ways to gain them. The purpose of the points system is to have fun, earn your ranks fairly, and help the clan with obligations.

There are no maximum amount of points to be gained, and we encourage our clan members to become involved in the clan and our members.

Important!
- For us to automatically track your points via capping/visiting citadel you will need to have your RuneMetrics profile on public so our Discord bots can read and give points accordingly! It is set to public by default, so it should only be private if you have intentionally set it as private.

are considered after at least 1 month of being a member or less if you are particularly helpful, active and motivated to be a part of the team!
