Thanks for stopping by to check out the Ceres recruitment thread!


As a clan, we focus on the social aspects of Runescape - getting to know your fellow heroes and heroines - and provide a helpful, friendly and fun atmosphere in CC and our Discord.

We are recruiting both F2P and P2P members!


Our members also like to explore and engage in all other features of the game as well - we have people who are always down for bossing, slayer and dungeoneering or even just skilling. Can't figure something out? Treat CC like your own personal google oracle (that's what I do, at least). We also host weekly skilling competitions, give out select prizes for various activities (capping, attending events, etc.), and host events like clan and/or bronze wars, relay races, burthorpe games room tournaments and hide n' seek. Feel like you want a different event? Hit us up, we're always looking for new things to try.

If you're looking for a super serious, never sarcastic clan - LEAVE THIS POST! THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! If you can handle some sarcasm (mainly from me, maybe), want to participate in light-hearted conversations in CC, know or enjoy some really bad puns, and want to have fun while dancing across RS, WE WELCOME YOU to guest in our CC or just join at any time!

(most, if not all, of our members are 18+ given our typical conversation, aforementioned sarcasm, and sometime questionable sense of humor)

We have a strong team of leaders who may not ALL be the highest at levels, but have our clanmates highest in their hearts and who make themselves available both in-game and off-line to help with advice, cheeriness and encouragement at any moment.

Basically our only rules: Be respectful of others / don't be a dick. Follow the Jagex rules.

Capping at the citadel is not required, but is always appreciated.


While we’d love if you’d use our homeworlds (4 for P2P, 3 for F2P), it's not required. Chance encounters of fellow clannies are AWESOME. But you know, if the opportunity to run across those orange dots isn’t incentive enough, it’d be lovely if you’d stop at home once in a while, maybe stay a bit, maybe have some dinner or something.

As you join and participate in chat, events, etc., we will assign ranks as appropriate for your behavior, restricted only by the time you've been here.

Clannies:


Recruit: Joins the clan. After 1 week as Recruit and not being sucky, can be promoted to Corporal.
Corporal: Takes part in positive contributions on multiple occasions. +2 weeks*.
Sergeant: Regular involvement in positive contributions. +4 weeks*.
Lieutenant: Occasionally initiates positive contributions. +8 weeks*.
Captain: Often initiates positive contributions. +16 weeks*.
General: Classic Clannies.

*Fill the description of the role and don't do anything sucky and you'll get a promo. If you are silent in CC, you'll still get a promotion from Recruit to Corporal, but you aren't likely to get a promotion from Corporal to Sergeant or higher until you engage in chat - we're a SOCIAL clan, after all. Council may vote for early promos for above & beyond behavior.

Your Staff / Council (at your service!):


Admin: Ensures the rules are being followed, may give ranks or warn and temp-kick offenders.
Clannies may be considered for promotion based on their observed contributions, maturity and willingness to put others before self. Admission to this rank is subject to a council vote - which takes 24 hours.

Organiser: Organizes and runs incentives and events.
Coordinator: Ensures events and activities are running smoothly, offers help and is available to give advice to the Organisers.
Overseer: Ensures everyone is doing their job and that the clan as a whole is happy and healthy.

Pre-communicated long-term inactivity will be noted and your rank will be frozen until you return (Admin+ will become Generals).

You will be kicked if inactive for 3 months without providing notice. You are always welcome to re-join.
