Looking for a Clan?

Hey guys, thanks for checking AoGamers out! We are a well-established social and skilling clan with a diverse international member base. We have f2p members and p2p members. We have members with a poh (player-owned house) rack full of skill capes and fairly new players. We have pures, ironmen, and members that like to train in all skills.

Some clans have strict entry requirements tied to combat level or total level. We are open to everyone and particularly welcome those players who are happy to hang out in clan chat.

Some clans are run by dictators and have mandatory events, mandatory meetings, mandatory capping in the clan citadel, insist clan members wear their clan cape at all times, insist members kill werewolves on every full moon, and so on. Only two things are mandatory in AoGamers:
1. Stick to the clan rules.
2. Have fun.

-~-~ Clan Rules ~-~-
So that we can all enjoy our playing time, we have certain rules that will need to be adhered to, please take your time to read the rules and familiarise yourself with them, as you get ranked up in the clan you will need to enforce them.

1. Jagex

All Jagex rules apply.

2. Respect

Always show respect to others and they will show respect in return.

3. Swearing

Swearing is allowed, however, we will not accept it if, it is directed at others or completely unneccesary, remember, there may be children in the clan.

4.Banter

Remember, it may be fun and banter to you and your friend, however, other members may not see it as so, move it to a private channel please.

5. Spamming

Spamming is not allowed, please keep the clan chat channel free from spamming so that others can enjoy their Runescape experience.

6. Disputes

If any members have disputes with other players and it cannot be sorted amicably, then please refer it to an Admin, we will try our best to resolve the issue without any unnecessary drama.

7. Ranks

Ranks up to Sergeant are time in the clan dependent, ranks above Sergeant are decided by the Admin staff, if we feel you deserve the rank, then you will get it.
You will only keep your Sergeant rank if you Cap at the Citadel weekly, Members that fail to Cap will be de-ranked to Corporal until the next Citadel reset, only exception is F2P as they cannot cap.
Only ranks Sergeant and above are allowed Alt accounts, Alt accounts do not need to fill in an application.

Everything you type in clan chat should be appropriate for all ages.
Play nice; while hearty debates are big fun, bashing people with differing views is not.
AoG is salvation for mature-minded players of all ages.

These members have capped no more than twice in the citadel and are usually fairly new to the clan.

Members with these ranks have by definition capped at least three times in the citadel and are generally active in our clan chat.

Promotion to these ranks is optional. These are some of our most trusted and loyal members, who have chosen to take a more active role in the clan: capping every week, policing our clan chat, bumping our recruitment thread, and organizing clan events.

These long-standing members are responsible for setting the direction of the clan and managing it on an ongoing basis, in addition to all other Admin+ responsibilities. They are always open to new ideas from clan members looking to make clan membership even more fun than it already is.

An increasing number of clan members prefer to cap on Thursdays (build tick day). If you have never capped before then Thursday is the perfect time to start as there should be plenty of members in the citadel to show you around and you have all week to finish up if you don't want to cap in one go.

...And please let one of us know when you've capped. We'd love to show our appreciation through ranking.

It's our citadel!
Without the gathering of resources every week our citadel will degrade. So if you benefit from the 3-6% XP bonus our citadel gives us then please assist with its upkeep.

Free XP!
Summoning XP without the need for charms or shards or pouches.
Firemaking XP without the need for an inventory full of logs.
Crafting XP without supplies.
...and more (as they unlock currently we have mining and woodcutting unlocked)

Extra benefits.
Bonus XP in a wide range of skills for use in our citadel or on the surface.
The weekly fealty reward from the clan cape is like a small lamp from Treasure Hunter.
Increased clan XP bonus (up to 6%).

Clan chat is where we hang out together in-game. We do our best to keep the chat clean, drama free, friendly, and respectful. Everything in clan chat should be appropriate for all ages.

Words and expressions that show disrespect to any group or individual in terms of gender, sexual orientation, or ethnic background will not be tolerated. Any other forms of rude or inappropriate behavior will be taken into consideration, depending on the context, the intention, and the harm caused.

The best advice is that if you are not sure about something, you are probably right and you should not use it.
