Hello fellow scapers!
We'd like to introduce our new clan, "Sign of Life". Founded by three friends who have been a part of the runescape community for many years. With those years comes much experience that we'd like to share with our members in hopes of creating a comfortable relaxing environment, appealing to both new and returning players. A place where we can learn, teach and have fun. Perhaps even forming bonds that reach beyond the borders of Gielinor.

Let me start by saying we have no level or membership requirements to join the clan. However, if you wish to make it past the recruit rank discord is required.

• Clan Discord •

Our discord is made to act as a home away from home. We have plenty of channels for our members to express their opinions and ideas regarding the clan and events making sure everyone has a voice. As well as a ton of useful information for everything runescape.

• Events based on member vote •

Most events planned and otherwise will be based around member majority vote via discord. None of these events are required to join. You will also be able to come up with ideas for new events while everyone else can upvote your idea.

• Simple rank system •

Our rank system was made to be reasonable for both low and high level players. Based on xp gained and time spent in the clan. For more information read on!

To keep our clan running, and free of inactivity we have a requirement of members to gain a certain amount of xp a month to stay in the clan depending on your total level. If you fail to reach this monthly cap a warning will be sent to you in the clan discord. If you fail to reply offering an explanation you may be removed from the clan on the monthly kick cycle.
However, if you plan on going inactive we have a channel in our clan discord where you can let us know, and you will be safe from getting kicked.
We completely understand real life comes first.

Our clan rules are simple and we take offence of these rules very seriously. Depending on the severity of the situation a decision will be made to either warn, or kick the individual in question. Screenshot proof is required for proper action to be taken.

•

We ask that you please change your discord name to your in game name or at least in parenthesis.

•

No harassment of any kind will be tolerated in the cc, discord or any clan related fc's at any time.

•

No racism, sexism, religious or cultural intolerance, or harassment based off of political standing.

•

No talk of politics or religion in the cc. If you have a discussion please keep it to pm's.

•

No spamming or begging in the cc, discord or pm's.

•

Luring or scamming of any clan members will result in an instant ban.

•

If you loan money to a fellow clan mate you are doing so at your own risk.

•

If going bossing with a guest or clan member, drops are by default split. Unless it is established and understood by all parties before the hour that drops are kept.

We try to keep our ranking as simple as possible giving newer players a chance to gain ranks in the clan without it being too overwhelming. We do promotions on a weekly basis and you are only allowed to gain 1 rank a week. For example, if you gain 5m xp when you're still on your week probation as a recruit you will only be promoted to corporal once your probation is over, and the following week sergeant.

For Admin+ positions, just because you gain the xp doesn't mean you get the rank. First you'll need to fill out an application, and await council approval. Same goes for Organiser+ positions, you don't need to fill out an application but you will still need to pass council approval.
