Who and what are Stormriders?


We’re a (brilliant, if we do say so lol) Runescape 3 social clan. We’ve been going for over 13 years now, in various forms, but we officially founded Stormriders on a sunny day back on 16 May 2014.

Our community likes to focus on helping new and returning players by offering them support, encouragement and advice on everything from exploring new content, finding more efficient training methods, earning more GP or just having more fun.

As well as those new/returning players, we’re also a perfect home for experienced pro’s who enjoy passing on their knowledge and seeing others progress as a result.

Clan Rules

Follow all Jagex rules

Be reasonably active

No Luring/Scamming; known scammers will be kicked/refused entry

Botting will NOT be tolerated and if found botting you will be kicked

No Flaming or Trolling clanmates, guests or members of other clans

Ranks aren't just earned, they're maintained. Your rank will reflect your dedication to (and activity in) the clan. Inactive members will lose 1 rank per month until kicked.

Be polite and show respect for other members and staff

You are free to argue/debate with others (we like Debates), but show them respect and if asked by a staff member to end it, please do so

No harassing other members for GP or items

No Real World Trading/ Doubling/ Staking or Online Gambling related chat

Don't spam or advertise other clans in our chat

Our clan leaders and staff work hard to keep things friendly and relaxed, so help them by respecting their authority

Lastly, understand that as a member of our clan you represent us and we like to think of ourselves as a group of nice people. So, dishonourable conduct (in or out of the clan) isn't tolerated.

Ranking Explained


All new members start at 2 stripes and we tend to rank fast; so you can expect to reach 3 stripes within days. Assuming you are pretty active, bronze star rank is achievable within a few weeks.

Silver rank is mostly for long-term members or those who contribute a lot with helping others, being sociable in clan chat, attending events, recruiting new members or capping at the clan citadel.

Gold (general) rank is reserved for our most dedicated clannies, our ex and/or possible future, admins.

As we said, we do rank fast, but we also de-rank fast. Our absent clan members lose 1 rank per month until (after spending 2 months at 2 stripes) they are kicked. That said, anyone kicked for inactivity is always welcome to re-join us should they return.

All of our clan members are free to arrange any kind of event, but as a clan we prefer to focus on community-orientated events, so everyone can participate. That said, we do host official PVM and skilling events too so there's something for all types of players to enjoy.

In Game Events


These are regular events that cover everything from group bossing to PvM challenges and fastest kill. Other popular in-game events that we enjoy include Hide and Seek, drop parties and Fashionscape Contests.

Discord Events


We regularly host events on our discord, for other games and trivia/quizzes. One of our favourites is Jackbox and we've also do Cards against Humanity sessions.

Obviously these events are entirely optional (as are all our events), so you can choose to just watch, or to even leave chat for the duration. That said, we hope you'll decide to join in as we'd love to have your input.

We use our Clan Page Forum and Discord to help us arrange these, so feel free to have a look there (and on the clan noticeboard) to see what we're up to and when.
