Dark Dreams is an established skilling/social clan with a strong core of knowledgeable and friendly players. Our clanmates come from a variety of backgrounds and playing styles, including skillers, pures, quest addicts, boss hunters, new players, returning players, and more. F2P and P2P players of any skill level are welcome. We offer a variety of events, and a clan chat full of fun and helpful players.

Our clan has a Tier 7 citadel, with all available skill plots. Right now, we have over 490 members. Many have over 1300 total level, making it easy to find effigy assistance or pick up some skilling tips. We're ranked in the top 1% of all clans for total experience, and in the top 100 clans for total skill level.

"Mandatory" is not something that we think goes with a video game. Capping (gathering maxed resources in our clan citadel) is encouraged and very much appreciated, but it is not required for membership in the clan. The same goes for attending our events, playing on the homeworld (35), wearing the clan cloak, and so on. It's wonderful if you choose to do it, but no big deal if it doesn't fit with how you play the game. The only 2 things that are mandatory in Dark Dreams are: Stick to the rules & Have fun!

All Jagex Rules Apply ›› Here are a few we want to be clear on, along with a few extras.

1. No spamming.

2. No swearing/cursing (including abbreviations) or abusive language.
(Think before you type.)


3. No scamming & do not ask to borrow items unless they are lendable. No "trust trades” please.

4. No begging for gold or items.

5. No asking for ranks, you deserve what you earn.

6. Please keep controversial topics out of the clan chat & forum posts. They just cause needless arguments and are upsetting to some clan members. (Religion/Politics/Illegal narcotics/Graphic violence/Self harm).

7. Keep the petty drama to a minimum. (Actually, no drama is needed.)

8. Remember to enjoy yourself!

**Just a note**

Everything you type in clan chat should be appropriate for all ages.
Play nice; while hearty debates are big fun, bashing people with differing views is not. Dark Dreams is a salvation for mature minded players of all ages.

Clan Events

We aim for at least two scheduled events each week. Events are posted on our personal clan forum as well as on the in-game noticeboard. Here are some events we've done:

Capping Tuesday:

Every Tuesday after the citadel resets, clanmates can start capping. It's a chance to cap in good company and have some fun while doing it.

Citadel Party:

Join us in our occational Citadel Party! All the usual house party fun and games in our wonderful Tier 7 citadel!

Mini Games/Activities:

We've done Castle Wars, Pest Control, stolen creation, and flung fish. We also do Shooting Stars, Evil Trees, Sinks & Flash Mobs...

Boss Sundays:

Barrows, GWD, KBD, CB, KK, KQ; we've conquered all of them, and will again soon.

Big "Once a Month" Events:

Every month we try to have one big clan event, different than skilling or bossing, of just clannies hanging out. For example, in October we have a Halloween event in the citadel and a costume contest!

Capping in the Citadel

An increasing number of clan members prefer to cap on Tuesdays (build tick day). If you have never capped before then Tuesday is the perfect time to start as there should be plenty of members in the citadel to show you around and you have all week to finish up if you don't want to cap in one go.

Reasons to Cap

1: It's our citadel!

Without the gathering of resources every week our citadel will degrade and we would not be able to keep our citadel a Tier 7 citadel. So, if you wish to benefit from the Avatar Habitat XP boost, then please assist with its upkeep.

2: Free xp!

Summoning xp without the need for charms or shards or pouches.
Firemaking xp without the need for an inventory full of logs.
Crafting xp without supplies.
...and more!

3: Extra benefits!

Bonus xp in a wide range of skills for use in the citadel or on the surface.
The weekly fealty reward from the clan cape is like a medium lamp from Treasure Hunter!

Bars - Recruit, Corporal, Sergeant



These trial members are those who have capped no more than twice in the citadel and are generally fairly new to the clan.


Stars - Lieutenant, Captain, General



These members are active in the clan. Many have capped at least three times in the citadel. They are active in clan chat and often bump our recruitment threads. Higher ranked p2p members cap generally every week. Capping helps us maintain and upgrade our clan citadel.


Crosses - Admin, Organizer, Coordinator



These are some of our most trusted and loyal members. Promotion to these ranks is optional and these members have chosen to take a more active role in the clan, organizing clan events, policing clan chat, capping every week and bumping our recruitment threads.


Keys - Overseer, Deputy Owner, Owner



These members are responsible for the setting the direction of the clan and managing it on an ongoing basis. They are always open to new ideas from clan members looking to make clan membership even more fun than it already is.

Those who have never been in a clan before often have questions about capping so I'll try to answer some of the most common questions here.

How long before I can cap?


You may cap as soon as you join!


Why should I cap?


Capping provides free xp for all. Clan members who cap can activate their weekly buffs and receive a 6% xp boost. Furthermore one can claim free xp from clan cape and bxp from quartermaster.


* * CLAN VEX & CLOAK* *


Where do I get a clan vex/cape?


Clan vexes are free and can be obtained by talking to the Clan Scribe in the Clan Camp south of Falador. When wielded or in your inventory, they have a free teleport to the clan camp.

Clan cloaks are also free and can be obtained by talking to the Captain of the Guard in the Clan Camp. After capping 3 times they provide a weekly xp reward equivalent to a medium xp lamp from Treasure Hunter!

How do I get to the clan citadel?


There is a portal in the Clan Camp south of Falador & one in the northwest corner of the Prifddinas GE. After you pick up a clan vex, you can use it to teleport to the Clan Camp portal, and use that to enter the Citadel.

How do I access the Dark Dreams clan forum?


1. Go the the main RS website.
2. Log into the website.
3. From the Community drop down menu select 'Clans'

**Note that you need to be a clan member and logged into the website to see all the forum threads. **

Non-members can still find us by searching for 'Dark Dreams' on the clan page but will not be able to see all the threads.
