Mission Statement

The goal of daaFriends is maintain a fun, friendly, safe space to hang out chatting, doing PVM and Skilling.

Discord Server

New members accepted into daaFriends will be required to complete a ONE MONTH probationary period (explained below). During this period, you are encouraged to join the discord and have a conversation with someone in the clan. Behavior in the clan, will be the deciding factors on whether you pass the probation period.

Applications may ONLY be accepted by Deputy Owners and Clan Owner, who are currently:

Activities

DAAFRIENDS DOES NOT HOLD ANY MANDATORY EVENTS. We do have occasional optional clan events such as Stealing Creation, Barbarian Assault, PvM trips, and Competitions. The majority of our clan interaction consists of HANGING OUT in the clan chat or clan Discord and discussing PVM, skillING, and other parts of RS. This is a GREAT place to be if you want to learn more about the game, and feel free to visit as a guest if you don't meet the requirements to join.

Clan citadel participation is another activity we recommend participating in, but do not enforce as a requirement. Just REMEMBER it takes about 900-950 RESOURCE CAPS in the Citadel weekly to maintain max fealty for 6% ava and BXP claims.

CC and General Rules

ALL RUNESCAPE RULES APPLY

1. Do not spam the CC. Spam is considered the excess repetition of a word, term or phrase.

2. Do not interfere with your clanmates' XP rates. Do not kill clanmates (orange dots) at PvP dailies such as Warbands/Goebiebands. If you are involved in a team fight, target white dots and not clanmates.

3. Do not crash your clanmates (PvM, Slayer, skilling locations like Hunter, etc.)

4. No trolling. You are expected to act in a well-mannered and mature way in both clan chat AND when representing your clan outside (at divine locations, in another clan's CC, on forums, etc.)

5. Abusive behavior towards your fellow clanmates will not be tolerated. Mild humor and banter is accepted if it is not overly offensive or contain excessive profanity. Do not flame people.

6. Please avoid topics involving religion, politics, or hate speech. Avoid overly vulgar language (racial slurs, sexist terminology, etc.)

7. If you are asked by ANY clanmate to stop whatever you may be doing (that may be offensive towards ANY clanmate), please do so.

8. Do not lure, scam, or harass your fellow clanmates. This will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

9. Do not bot, autoclick or perform any sort of automated skilling. If sufficient evidence is obtained you are botting, you will be immediately kicked.

10. Please keep all conversations in CC to English.

11. If you have concerns about people in the clan, feel free to speak to any keyrank about it.

12. If a keyrank asks you to speak in PM, please do so to prevent drama in the CC.

Short Guide to the Clan Avatar and Clan Fealty:

1. Go to the Clan citadel (portal in Priff or Clan Camp near Port Sarim)

2. Activate your weekly buff on the Avatar Control Stone in Town Square. (Set to Resource gathering)

3. Cap to roughly 900-950 resources on any plot.

4. Claim Bonus XP from Quartermaster in Keep.
5. Activate your weekly buff on the Avatar Control Stone in Town Square. (Set to xp)

6. Repeat above weekly, can claim xp lamp from Clan Coak when tier 3 fealty (+1% xp per fealty from weekly buff).

Staying at rank 3 fealty ensures you get the full 6% clan avatar skilling bonus.

Discipline

If a clan rule is broken, the offending party will usually be given a warning or strike by a key rank. Typically, only 1 non-strike warning will be given. Three strikes within a 90 day period will result in a kick. If a new member receives two strikes in their 30 day probation period, this will also result in a kick. In extreme circumstances (luring, scamming, harassment, serious toxicity), the strike system may be skipped.

We keep track of warnings and strikes on a spreadsheet. You will be notified if you receive a strike through PM as soon as possible.

How Do We Decide Who Becomes a member of DaaFriendst?

Applicants are evaluated on the basis of a number of factors, including recent activity, historical experience gains, play style, and responses to the application questions. Once your application has been posted, it will be reviewed and you will be notified of our decision by a post in this thread as soon as possible.

Probationary Month

The main purpose of the probationary month is to determine whether or not new recruits will be a fit for the clan - and allows you to determine whether we are a fit for you. We want people who are active in clan chat and are kind to others.

Keep in mind that probation runs for the full month regardless of your experience gains. The 50m exp is not required to be achieved in the first month, however, you will not rank up until you get it.

What can I do to maximize my experience in probation month?
- Warbands (Daily) 11m XP/month, 10 minutes/day
- Book of Char (Daily) 10m XP/month, 3 min/day
- Divine Yews (Daily) 4.5m XP/month, 10 min/day

I am interested in talking to and interacting with some of the top pvm and skillers in the game and gaining knowledge that can help me become a much better overall player. I was referred by daabears.

Sure, I already am.

4. How many hours do you play per week, on average?

40-50.

5. Please describe a typical RuneScape day for you. Include any dailies/D&Ds that you partake in.

At reset I do traveling merch, treasure hunter keys, vis wax run, reset my daily challenges and burry 60 bones to complete them, jack of trades, soul reaper, ports, pof, crystal tree blossom, motherlode maw, divine location next door, reset my arch research to warforge, menaphos obelisk/scarabs, wicked hood runes, sandstone, herb runes, play a couple mini games and then proceed to whichever skill I’m currently going for 120 in or another goal such killing a boss for the pet.

6. What are your current goals on RuneScape? How will you achieve these goals efficiently?

120 all skills, completing achievements towards getting my Comp cape. Examples of efficient things I will do to achieve 120s are saving buyables for Double XP Weekend to save money, using Silverhawks for Agility, sing D&D's for skills that they are efficient for, and making GP on a alternate account while skilling on my main.
