I am Necroshade57, the new leader of an old clan called Ouija! All of the founding members took a break from RuneScape and morale has kind of died down recently. I am looking for new recruits who are interested in being social in the clan chat, who are comfortable asking for help and also giving help to others when needed. The members that are still active in the clan are super supportive and friendly and willing to answer any questions anyone has. We have a good variety of members who do PVM, Skilling, Questing or are just checking off boxes for their comp capes, so I'm sure you will find someone in the clan who shares a play style with you! We even have a few IronMen!
We plan on hosting PVM and Mini-Game events once we get enough new recruits and we're working on all sorts of ways to try to make the clan more engaging and rewarding for the members. Hi there! All clans come bundled with rules in one way or another, and here at Ouija we are no different, so without further adieu, here are our rules;
Respect
• We will not condone intolerance towards race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, religion, and/or personal belief.
• This also includes but isn't limited to general problematic behavior, trolling, begging, asking for handouts or loans, hateful name calling, teasing, and sexual harassment.
Chat
• We do not condone any form of a "heated discussion" in regards to politics and/or religion. It would be wise to refrain from taking part in these types of discussion in general, as they tend to end up being problematic.
• The use of curse words is allowed. (within reason) Don't purposefully abuse this right.
• No spamming. Spam refers to a post/comment that is both meaningless and does not contribute towards a conversation. It can also refer to chat box flooding. (Which we will not tolerate. It's immature and unnecessary
Reporting abuse within the clan
• We want all of our members to feel at home in the clan! With that being said we ask that you do not report within the clan. Instead, if you have a problem with a member and believe it is worth reporting, we ask that you speak to one our Administrators. You can message someone who is online currently or on our Discord by typing @Administrators+ -- That will ping all of the admins on our Discord. We hope to be able to de-escalate the issue and respond more quickly than Jagex could.
This is not an exhaustive set of rules and all standard Runescape rules apply. Please use common sense if you are unsure if what you are about to say is appropriate or not. We want to avoid any possible drama and disruptions.

*Ouija's Ranking System is maintained by our Overseer, Supa Potayto. Promotions are granted weekly on Sundays (US).
Recruit
o) Read the Rules and Regulations thread
Corporal
o) Earn 5,000,000 XP while in the clan
Sergeant
o) Earn 15,000,000 XP while in the clan
Lieutenant
o) Earn 30,000,000 XP while in the clan
Captain
o) Earn 90,000,000 XP while in the clan
General
o) Earn 125,000,000 XP while in the clan
o) General has the permission to kick guests when needbe, abusing this will result in demotion.
The rank of Admin is rewarded to those who fellow Admins+ deem fit and are willing or have demonstrated the ability and willingness to carry out the duties listed below. Admins+ will be promoted based on their contributions to the clan.

Admin: - HOW TO BE PROMOTED LISTED ON POST 3
o) Must cap weekly (and therefore maintain 3 fealty).
o) Be social and friendly with clan mates.
o) Be knowledgeable about the game and be able and willing to provide help to fellow clan members when questions are asked.
o) Help moderate the clan chat.
*Avatar Warden:
Admins, Organizers, and Coordinators are ranks reserved for those who wish to take out the clan avatar.
o) The clan avatar must always be kept in World 14 (unless there is already one active), and if you summon an avatar you must plant our clan Vexillum. - note: Clan Vexs expire after being placed for approximately two hours.
o) You must always announce in the clan chat that the clan avatar is now active and state which world it is in.
o) If you're an active host for the avatar and you're going to stop playing/log out, it is necessary to dismiss the avatar prior. This is a curiosity thing as we don't know your intentions and may unknowingly recall an avatar that's being "used".
I. Be on discord to discuss clan issues/problems/higher level concerns
II. Promotion considerations into/within admin+ ranks will be based on:
- involvement in cc.
- mentorship of new recruits or lower leveled players.
- connections you make and maintain throughout the clan.
- demonstration to put aside personal time and effort for the clan well being (dropping your summoning gains to take out the avatar if none is out or if requested, taking time to give tours of the citadel, etcetera).
- recruitment or attempted recruitment.
- hosting or participating in bossing/minigame/raiding with other clan members (and being willing to do lower leveled bosses for other clan members).
- capping consistently over a long time.
III. Current space/availability is taken into consideration within the admin+ ranks.
*Please note that opinions of current Coordinator+ ranks will be taken into account when promotions are considered
COORDINATOR+ / COUNCIL MEMBERS
o) Coordinator ranks are reserved for Council members, a separate part of our Administrative team.
I. Council members are tasked with voting on clan changes that are presented and therefore must be active within the clan. Council members will get polled on all potential administrator candidates, including but not limited to getting polled on changes to our ranking system, rules, or citadel.
All Council members votes are equal and cast with a 1:1 ratio, including Ouija's Deputy Owner(s).
-*However, in certain circumstances Ouija's Owner(s) reserve the right to appeal any outcome of said vote or reschedule a proposed poll to be reconvened at a later time.
II. When asked, council members may also be tasked with recruiting responsibilities and may be expected to reach a pre-discussed and agreed-upon quota.
The ranking system above isn’t so strict anymore, it’s just leftover from the original owner and it’s just a general scale of promotion a lot of clans use.
The way it works for the most part if you want to be promoted is to actively be doing any of the following:
-Recruit new members
-Be active and helpful in the clan chat or Discord
-Gathering resources at the Clan Citadel
-Amount of time as a member of the clan is taken into consideration when choosing Admin+ Roles
Trust me, if you are contributing, it will not go unnoticed! If you feel like you are doing your fair share and deserve a promotion just bring it up and explain you situation. But chances are you might get promoted before that if you are doing all of these things!
Since we mentioned that everyone is welcome, I thought that it should also be mentioned that this does include Ironman and Ironwomen as well as an Alternate accounts!
Also if you are leaving a clan and know other who need a new home or just have friends who are not in a clan bring them on over with you!
Today I had a recruit contact me about joining Ouija because their old clan had turned into a very toxic environment over time. I want to stress that Ouija has a zero tolerance policy for any discrimination, sexism, racism, homophobia, etc. This clan was started in 2016 and I joined in 2017 and in my entire time in the clan, I have never seen that type of behavior take place. I have never seen any members have issues with each other either, the whole time it has been a very chill place to talk, organize PVM groups or ask for help.
I made this post to make it clear that Ouija is a safe place for all and anyone who violates that safety will be removed from the clan. If you are in a clan that if full of toxic, racist and vile comments and behavior and aren't comfortable being involved in that setting, you are more than welcome to join us! If you are one of the people contributing to that type of twisted environment do not reach out, we are not interested.
