Welcome to Empowered! We were created on February 29, 2012 (leap day). We are a clan for players of all ages and levels who like an active chat to make their game a little more fun and create friendships. Come check out our Clamily!

Our clan rules are simple and easy. They revolve around respecting your fellow clan mates. We expect all members to be mature and respect each other. Failure to do so will result in being removed from the clan.

We do not have any mandatory events. Too much effort goes in to creating events that no one shows up for anyway. We are trying to have regular weekly events. As they become established they will be posted below. Feel free to create your own gatherings for portables, dummies, penguin hunting, evil tree, star hunting, citadel - which is now a tier 7!!! castle wars, dungeoneering, etc. Parties are great. The game is much more fun when played with your clan mates.

We do not talk about pking, merchanting, staking or anything else of that kind. We are about having a fun and skilling like the game is meant to be played.
Please do not join our clan to beg for or ask for help or hand outs. While we love to help our fellow members when they are in need. People who are found begging will be asked to stop and/or asked to leave permanently.

While occasionally being AFK will not result in being kicked, we do ask that all members try to be active and talkative. If you plan on being AFK all the time do not join. It's understandable that some activities require a lot of attention but please try your best to be engaged. After all what is the purpose of joining a clan if you don't intend to be social?

Bumping the thread is not mandatory but is greatly appreciated and is noticed when looking for players to help out the clan at higher ranks. It is also a way of assuring we know you are active so your spot in the clan is secure.

Rules:

1. Jagex rules apply

2. No Swearing - While the profanity filter is a nice option, we request that members also refrain from using acronyms for curse words as well.

3. Respect - All individuals must be treated with respect. Sensitive topics such as religion and politics should be kept to a minimum and never in a disrespectful manner. No derogatory or insensitive terms of any kind will be allowed and no talk of illegal drugs will be tolerated.

4. No spamming - Do not dominate the chat in anyway that disrupts the chat. Any form of spam including pictures, xp countdowns, etc. are just annoying, please don't do it. The only exception is level up congrats and welcoming new members into the clan.

5. No inappropriate names - Players with names we feel are inappropriate will not be accepted. If you change to an inappropriate name after you have joined the clan you will be removed and not allowed back until the name is changed.

6. Don't ask for ranks. If you earn it, you get it.

7. Do not argue - If you have a conflict with another player take it up with them privately like an adult. Do not include your problems personal or clan related in the chat or in the thread. Also do not argue with ranks-they are here to enforce the rules and are trusted to do so fairly. If you feel you have been treated unfairly let a leader know and we will take care of it the best we can.

8. Thread activity - No one is required to bump the thread. We suggest you bump the thread at least once a week as it helps us know you are active. We'll occasionally clear out inactive members. Posting on the thread in the last week assures you will not be not removed. Bumping keeps our clan visible so it grows
(but please try to space out bumps to around 15 minutes so that the thread isn't just filled with bumps.) Even better is to include something that makes it fun or interesting to read the thread.

Rules continued:

9. When a player breaks a rule the individual will first receive a warning. After a warning has been given if a player breaks the rule again he or she will be demoted and possibly removed from the clan. Players who prove to be a constant source of trouble will either be removed completely or demoted and given a probationary period at the decision of the clan leaders.

10. If a player decides to leave the clan, they may only come back if personally invited, in game, by the owner or co-owners of clan.

11. Whatever you do, do not listen to Bigmoneymill or MrMalarkey. This is actually an old rule but we love it. If you do listen to them just beware. ;)

Clan requirements:

We are open to all players of all levels and ages. Our only requirement is that you post your own application and have read the rules.

After you have posted an app join the cc as a guest and ask any admin rank or higher (they are listed on the ranks post below) to look over your app. Once accepted they will invite you into the clan. If not contacted after being accepted again feel free to pm any admin rank or higher for an invite.

To Join clan chat please click on clan chat icon

From here click on the button visited clan on the bottom right (the middle one)

Then from here click on join clan chat and enter empowered

Then to speak in clan chat type /// then what you want to say

How to rank up:

We do NOT put a strong emphasis on rank; however as the clan grows we need players to help us run the clan. Bumping the thread, helping out at the citadel and being active, friendly and helpful in the chat are the easiest ways to get promoted. Most importantly follow all clan rules and never ask for ranks!

Thread bumping and a positive attitude will always be recognized.

Promotions, other than the first and second stripe, will ONLY be given out during the first full weekend of each month and ONLY by the owner or co-owners.

Ranks and their meanings:

When you have posted an application you may speak any of the members with rank of Lieutenant + to look over the app/invite to clan.

Founders
Yaherty - who is no longer with us, Rest in Peace
Chillum - Rock on!

Owner - The Owner of the clan
Zalenka1- current Singing Crow - past

Deputy Owner - Co-owners, same responsibilities as the owner, helps run the clan.
Voidbringer

Overseer - Other clan leaders, they assist in helping the owners run the clan

Coordinator - Same as Organizer: The most trusted of all admins.

Organizer - Same as Administrator with higher chat monitoring

Administrator - Trusted members who have been in the clan for a long time. Their job is to assist with maintaining a fun friendly environment in the chat. They can kick players who are causing trouble in the chat.

General - Same as Captain, Been in the clan for a long time. Forum moderators and recruiters.

Captain - Same as Lieutenant, been with the clan a little longer and trusted members.

Lieutenant - Forum moderators. These are members who have shown activity on forums and in the chat. They assist in in accepting applications, inviting new members and keeping the forum

Sergeant - Been in clan a while. Has GOOD attitude in chat and BUMPS the thread

Corporal - Full members of the clan.

Recruit - New members that have just joined the clan. You have this rank for the first 7 days of membership. After your first week you will become a full member. This rank is also given to a player who has been making trouble and is given a second chance to prove themselves.

Clan Citadel:

Thanks to the efforts of our amazing clan...

We are at Tier 7!!!!

We have a clan citadel for those who enjoy skilling together. Participation in the citadel is not required and no player should ever feel pressured to participate. There is a citadel guide on the clan page if you want to know how it works.

Citadel build tick is currently on very early Mondays at about 00:20 Jagex time, just 20 minutes past reset.
