Welcome to Divide by two!

Hey everyone welcome to our clan page. Just a bit about us, we’re a group of friends looking to establish a new community more suited to our tastes. We are a new and growing clan and we welcome any account type and build. So many clans out there have ridiculous expectations and requirements and we are aiming for a more casual laidback experience where you can be yourself. If that appeals to you, come guest in the chat and get to know us!

Our timezone: Most of us are pacific (gmt-8) or eastern timezone ( Gmt -5) as we are US based.

Now then, I know it’s posted on literally every clan page in existence, but we do have some rules that we expect to be followed to keep things pleasant for everyone involved. That being said, just give these a quick glance so you can’t say you weren’t warned.

Rules

1. Please no discussion of politics or religion in the chat....Personally I don’t mind discussions when people are civil but these topics always inevitably devolve into unproductive chaos.

2. No racism/ sexism/ prejudice against anyone, this will be an instant kick.

3. Do not bot or discuss botting related activities in chat. We all dislike cheaters and they ruin the experience for themselves and others.

4. Scamming/luring ANYONE is strictly prohibited. Even if they are not in the clan.

5. Do not beg for items/ gold, we will help give advice where we can but we’re not a bank.

6. Please don’t start fights with other members in the chat, we’re all friends here and while some arguments are probably inevitable in any sort of community, we will ask you to add each other to ignore. If such an occurance does happen, please just listen to ranks when they ask you to stop, we don’t like kicking anyone but we will if it comes to that.

7. We aren’t against swearing, we’re adults and not children that need to be told not to say bad words, and we realize that expecting people not to swear is naïve at best, However, to go with the above rule, just don’t flame people it’s unbecoming, and if you really need assistance and cannot solve the issue on your own, let a rank know and they can assist where they can.

8. Do not spam the chat.

9. no elitism, It’s just really annoying. You can give advice but if someone chooses to play how they want to, we ask that you respect that choice. It’s not always about being efficient.

Ranking system.

Ranks will be assigned based on a variety of things. We won’t use a point system to keep track of everyone, we won’t use some arbitrary exp tracker that doesn’t mean anything.

Everyone will start as a recruit, joining the discord will get you another rank up.

Beyond that, ranks will be assigned based on a variety of things like:

Being active in the cc and the discord and interacting with everyone

How often you cap

General helpfulness

Attending clan events / meetings

How long you’ve been with us

Citadel

Capping at the citadel is not required, But doing so will give an exp boost and it will help you gain rank and be more noticed in the clan.

Our goals

We aim to set ourselves apart from the crowd by being a chill, adult place to just hang out with friends and enjoy our time in game. Eventually we do want to get some teams going for more pvm content and possibly even dungeoneering or ironman content as well, but that’s a future goal.

For now we just want a community where we can all grow and learn together and a place where you shouldn’t be afraid to ask questions. Many of us have played for more than a decade and can help with most things.
