Moonrise
is an established Social + Discord clan with a brooding, lunar aesthetic and a laid back outlook on connecting via RuneScape, and other games. I founded the clan as a lone adventurer in 2019, and have quickly grown to absolutely love the connection (and the resilience) we've built as a group!

Currently, we see ourselves as a group of close gaming friends who have been through it all together. So you can rest assured we know who we are, and we know where we're headed. We know our goals, and we know we want you along for the ride! You're welcome to join us whether you're new, returning, a veteran, or just a filthy casual! Skillers, killers, questers, and bankstanders are all invited! Our goal here is to bring all different types of players together under one friendly roof, and grow an active community that World 4 can be proud and happy to be part of.

Current Offerings


While we rebuild from what we've lost, we're focusing on laying a strong foundation.

Discord:
At this time, we offer a boosted, active, and fully loaded Discord complete with RS Clan Admin, and various other administrative and game bots. I'm also one of the clan's designated Discord managers! So if there's a way you think the Discord can be improved or made better, shoot!

Other Games:
We love playing other games too, not just RuneScape! Join our Discord and see! You will find a several voice chat channels for general use, so feel free to get something else going. Come play your faves with us, or learn a new title!

Recruitment Process:
Your leadership team is dedicated to organically recruiting members who are suitable for our community, as opposed to mass recruitment - this is so we can maintain a close knit feel regardless of how large we grow. We're also trying to find folks to add to our small circle of PvM experts ( Artemion, Jatsky ).

Clan Citadel:
Our citadel is currently Tier 4. You can gain 3-6% of bonus XP on any skill every week by working on the skilling plots there. When you cap each week, you earn a ticket into a monthly raffle for a bond. Help us grow our citadel (Tier 7 being the ultimate long-term goal), and we can unlock a great place to help newer accounts level up some tertiary skills easily. This is not mandatory, but we feel that there are lots of incentives to assisting at your clan citadel. If you'd like a tour of the citadel, ask us!

Competent Leadership:
All keys occupy different levels of game experience, play styles, and perspectives. Your Leadership team is comprised of a group of longtime friends and is entirely, entirely approachable regarding anything you'd like to bring to us.

Chat Guidelines


We feel that most people should understand the difference between right and wrong, however for the sake of clarity, we will make it clear that
Jagex and RuneScape terms and conditions apply to our clan chat in-game, as well as in our Discord server.


1. Our Leaders and Admins will always attempt to resolve any issues between members, but we encourage you to work things out in PM yourselves first. Please consider approaching an Admin if you see one online before escalating your issue higher. Conflict is approached by our team using a simple 3-strike system. Refusal to abide by these guidelines will result in immediate removal from the clan.

2. While we encourage freedom of expression and we welcome talks about certain topics among seasoned groups of friends privately. However please don't engage in any of the following subjects or behaviours in the clan chat or general areas of the Discord server, as they tend to cause conflict:

Politics/Religion
Extreme Ideologies
Extreme Language
Trolling/Baiting
Begging/Luring
Bullying/Bigotry


3. Moonrise is meant to be a place for friends to gather. With that in mind, we highly discourage all forms of elitism and meta-baiting. This includes judging the way someone else chooses to play, providing unsolicited advice for account improvement, and one-upping someone else's achievement by turning it into a discussion about you.

PvM & Bossing Personnel


While Moonrise is not PvM focused, we do hope to build a solid but kind PvM environment for all who join us. Whether you are just learning, need some quick advice, or you need a team to go with you to a particular boss, you can contact the following leaders for your PvM needs. They have proven expertise in combat and a wide variety of bosses/monsters, and can guide or teach you if you ask. Their timezones are listed beside their names.

Our seasonal events have varied from year to year with a different plot, theme, or challenge to try based on the holiday. Take prizes back to your bank, get in the spirit no matter the season, and have fun with your clanmates. :)

If the clan is not as active as you'd like it to be at one time or another, we ask that you kindly exercise patience with your fellow moonies rather than observing that the chat etc. is "dead". Sometimes people are off doing their own thing, or don't feel like talking. That's okay ! We are not a clan with requirements regarding regular chatting. We feel clans should stress this fact more often and users should not shame each other for lapses of silence in their CCs, or folks needing to take a break.

This post will eventually list PvM offerings as well. Be patient with us, we're still just rising ;)

Citadel Bond Raffle


Helping out at the citadel provides a few benefits to all players, including the option to activate a weekly XP bonus ranging from 3-6%. This XP bonus applies to all skills you train. You can also grab free weekly XP in 1 of 6 skills from the quartermaster located in the clan keep, and also from your clan cape. If you don't know where to find either of these, let us know and we'll guide you!

In addition to gaining free XP each week, we give you a ticket into a monthly raffle for TWO bonds, which will go to one lucky person who has contributed to the citadel. So the more weeks you fill your resource cap, the higher chance you will have of winning this prize at the end of the month!

Our RS Clan Admin bot tracks this activity via Discord if you have a public adventurer's log. If your profile is set to private, simply screenshot it (or have someone else do it for you) and send it via Discord to
