Clan Ranks:
Here in Kia Kaha we don't follow the common practice of most clans, where you start at the lowest of ranks and work your way up throughranks by points or attendance: i.e., recruit, corporal, sergeant, Lieutenant, captain, general, etc.
Once an invitation to our clan is accepted, the new member is given a recruit rank for a one-week evaluation period. Don't be worried -- this "trial period" is very easy and something you need not stress.
Upon successfully completing the trial period of one week, members receive the gold star General rank. (Yay! Welcome to full membership). Aside from our founders and small administration team, we believe in the equality of all our members; everyone is a valued clanmate. This rank system is the corner stone of our clan and Kia Kaha will never be about rank.
Aside from the small admin team, all clanmates are gold. Any general-ranked clan member may request a temporary avatar rank, if he or she wishes to host the avatar.

The Boring Common Sense Stuff
Unacceptable behaviour
Don't bash Jagex, Runescape or other players. Drama is for the citadel theater not for the clan or clan chat.
(For debates and disagreements, please take the argument to your friend chat.If you cannot resolve, in extreme cases please use your ignore option). If it relates to the clan, please pm a ranked admin member in the chat.
Don't attack/flame/troll others based on nationality, race, gender, religion, age, partner orientation, or political views.
Don't ask for any type of payment from clanmates, for dungeoneering floors, assisting with effigies, blessing graves or lending items through the 'trade loan' option.
* This is an important one, folks. In Kia we help each other to help each other and not for payment.
Don't ask clanmates to buy items for you to skill or merc*.
Don't place the Kia vexillum, so as to block another player's ability to click on a location. Remember, that you represent the clan. People are judging Kia Kaha, based on their interactions with you. So keep it positive!
Being abusive, hosting trust games, luring or abusing the game mechanics in any possible method, are grounds for an immediate dismissal from the clan.
From time to time, disciplinary action is necessary.
Breaking clan and chat rules, may result in rank demotion.
Arriving at a triple banana rank, may result in dismissal from the clan.
Our primary method, of communicating events and new information about the clan, is through the clan forums. Please ask for help if you have difficulty accessing them.

Be a genuine respectful person to clanmates and RuneScape Players and there'll be nothing to worry about.
