Welcome to Summit's clan thread. I hope that from this forum thread you will gain an understanding of what Summit is about; striving to create a friendly atmosphere, an environment in which you can relax and socialise in or reach your Runescape goals. Summit was primarily a skilling clan when we formed but we now have a stronger emphasis on PvM and look forward to getting more members involved in team bosses. Summit has lots of experienced members/completionists who can help provide general game guidance on a day to day basis.

• General note

Members within Summit clan are expected to act within accordance of the rules; set down by Jagex, the Clan and also to act with honour, integrity and honesty.

Alongside this, Summit expects all members to follow these guidelines:

• Remain considerate of fellow clan mates by avoiding the continued use of offensive language; swearing within the Clan Chat is permitted as long as it is contextual and not directed at anybody in particular - misuse of language consistently will result in possible sanctions.

• Absolutely no scamming (of any kind) of other clan mates; this rule also extends to members not within the clan - if an individual is found to be scamming they will be removed from the clan immediately.

• Refrain from spamming the Clan Chat at all times and avoid unnecessarily interrupting the communication of fellow clan mates, be it in the Clan Chat, citadel or elsewhere

• Don't encourage fellow clan members to break the rules - similarly, clan members must not detail methods of rule breaking to other clan members at any time and must instead report the bug directly to Jagex.

• Promoting or fueling arguments between clan members is prohibited - the Clan Chat is for constructive and relaxed chat only, and those that attempt to encourage deviation from this will be dealt with accordingly.

• Members should not ask for rank-ups - if an individual believes that they meet the criteria for a promotion, then they must contact Summit leaders at the next best possible time.

• Abusing ranks to kick or take advantage of other individuals within the clan is not allowed - point blank. Depending on the seriousness of the situation, further action may be taken.

Our Ranking system is based fundamentally on XP gained since joining the clan. Experience is tracked via the clan members list which can be found on the clan page.
For rankings above admin, XP total is not accounted for. We assess a number of different qualities when picking new organisers, including their helpfulness within the chat, activity as well as the length they've been within the clan for.

The clan citadel is a vital part of the clan - each clan has their own citadel that members can work in and gain experience in a variety of skills. Each citadel has 7 tiers, with each skill plot and building plot starting at Tier 1 and gradually progressing towards the higher tiers as the clan increases in size. Summit's citadel is currently Tier 7 & Summit owns a clan dragon, we are progressing towards having a fully maxed citadel.

Even though capping is not mandatory , we see it as an integral part of our clans community and encourage members to cap. By capping at the citadel, you will receive benefits, such as the free xp which is gained and the fealty benefits which you will receive after three weeks of consecutive capping. Clan members who cap regularly will have their efforts recognized, and this is essential if you want to progress through the higher ranks of the clan. We view the citadel as our community hub and it is in keeping with the clan’s ethos, it gives our members a platform to be responsible and socially active.

Summit were the 2015 winners of the Skilling Clan Cup run by Jagex. The competition involved bringing the clan's top skillers together to plan the most efficient way to maximise XP/h in a different skill for 6 weeks. As a reward for winning, Summit will be receiving a customised clan icon as well as double avatar buffs for a month. Only 10 submissions per week were needed but we are proud that so many clan members took part or gave us the support. We thank all other clans for making the competition worthwhile, a list of members who entered submissions for the cup is listed below:

I thank my fellow clan leaders for being so dedicated to the clan and bringing such a positive, friendly environment, many who joined on clan birth or since then, without you the clan would not be what it is today. I never expected Summit to become so big from what was a tight-nit group of friends to now a much larger community
