The name of our clan is based off of a 1997 collection of military science fiction short stories called Hammer’s Slammers. They were written by the author David Drake. The stories follow the career of a future mercenary tank regiment called Hammer's Slammers, after their leader, Colonel Alois Hammer. You can Google it to fully learn about it if you like and you'll see it has good ratings so it must be a good read. Anyway please continue to read the rest of the info below.
