Introduction


Kia Kaha, the Maori expression for “Stay Strong,” took root on the meaningful date of July 2nd, 2011, meticulously crafted by Green098 and co-owners in response to Jagex’s citadel update announcement. As the sands of time gracefully shift, Green098 embarks on a well-deserved retirement, gifting us a profound legacy of exceptional leadership. With the dawn of December 4th, 2023, we extend a warm embrace to ZipL, entrusted with the responsibility to steer our course with a renewed perspective and unwavering dedication.

Our ongoing vision for the clan is to be a beacon of community engagement, characterized by diversity and a positive influence on both our clanmates and the broader RuneScape community. Committed to upholding the rules and regulations of RuneScape, we strive to perpetuate the friendly, helpful, and kindred spirit that defines the soul of our community. Rules & Policies


1. No spamming.

3. No drama or arguments.
4. No Jagex/RuneScape bashing.
5. Respect each other, visitors, and other clans.
6. Have fun and encourage others in their goals.
7. No hatred or negative behavior on guests visiting the clan.
8. No personal attacks on nationality, race, religion, age, gender, partner orientation. If in doubt, don’t say it.

We aim to maintain a clean and safe clan environment. If you have any concerns or need to report a situation, please reach out to the owner or co-owners for prompt resolution and management.



Membership Requirements


In addition to demonstrating maturity, prospective members are required to have a minimum total level of 1500 to join our clan. While we consider 1500 total level, our aspiration is to have all members reach a total level of 2000 and above, coupled with active in-game participation. If you don't currently meet this requirement but aspire to join us in the future, feel free to join as a guest until you reach the goal – guests are always welcomed here.

Ranking System


Recruit
: All new members will start here and are promoted following by a confirmation of reaching the citadel resource cap once .

Corporal
: Final Inactive Pool. Inactive members with the lowest clan XP gained are moved here to be removed as space is required.

Sergeant
: Disciplinary rank; Member that behave negatively are moved here and must maintain a good standing for one week before having their previous rank restored. Further negative behavior while in this rank may result in dismissal, to be judged on a case by case basis.

Lieutenant
: Primary Inactive Pool. It is used to keep track of inactive members. Prior or relevant rank is restored if a member in this pool becomes active once again.

Captain
: Baseline members; Recruits that have been verified after 1-2 weeks from recruitment date or cap.

General
: Threshold Promotion (6 months or 50M clan XP). Members that meet these criteria may request promotion to this rank.

Admin
: Threshold Promotion (1 year and 500M clan XP). Members that meet these criteria may request promotion to this rank.

Organizer
: Threshold Promotion (1 year and 750M clan XP). Members that meet these criteria may request promotion to this rank.

Coordinator
: Threshold Promotion (2 years and 1B clan XP). Members that meet these criteria may request promotion to this rank.

Overseer
: Event/Job responsibility. Chosen to oversee the clan related activities. Criteria for consideration are members that meet
Admin+

Deputy Owner
: Advisers; Members at this rank are responsible for maintaining smooth clan operation and provide suggestions/advice to
Owner

Owner

Activities


Kia Kaha offers a diverse range of events for clanmates, including PvM Bingo, PvM trips, Citadel Cap & Raffles, double XP weekend competitions, daily Travelling Merchant calls, and various other activities fostering camaraderie and enjoyment. If you have event ideas or wish to host one, reach out to a co-owner for approval. We announce many events in advance to accommodate busy schedules and engage in monthly skilling competitions on Discord. Communication is facilitated through clan chat or clan discord—feel free to ask for more details. Kia Kaha provides a supportive environment for learning, relaxation, and building lasting clan relationships.

Disciplinary Actions


Violating clan chat rules may lead to a demotion in rank, and achieving the rank of
Sergeant
could result in dismissal from the clan. We expect members to self-monitor and adhere to respectful conduct.
