Welcome to Castaways recruitment page. We are a social skilling clan with no airs or graces who are just looking for a relaxing place to be while we get that XP. We have no mandatory events, we mostly suck at PvM, we love gaining XP and our IQ is at least 13.4 on a good day. So if you want to join our dysfunctional family then read on!

Rules

1. This rule no longer exists
It was to enter the citadel every week to help us make the number count while going for Tier 7, but we have that now, woo! If you do enter the cit and do work (towards our mighty Black Dragon, then it is super appreciated)

2. Don’t be a Cheeky Bugger - This is the forum friendly way to describe it!
This covers a broad range of things, from not jokingly (but we know you’re serious) asking for money or handouts, one upping others achievements, saying things with the intent to offend other clanmates.

3. Chunk Sketch is our Supreme Leader
This isn’t so much a rule as a statement to our benevolent leader, who takes us peasants under his wing and teaches us what it is to be a memedaddy. Hunting down Herb and Cooking now! (Finally changed my signature, Bull!)

You can join the clan as a guest and ask for an invite with or without an application, as long as you agree to our three rules. If you would like to tell us a bit more about yourself though please use this template below.

To join as a guest do the following;
1) Press the Community button (The green and orange man by Settings)
2) Where it shows the Clan page (Yellow man), click the green circle (Visited Clans)
3) Click the (
+
)> button and type in "Castaways"
To type as a guest you will need to do three ///'s, or make a guest clan window.

Deputy Leader
These are the guys who help me run the clan in it’s day to day ventures, as well as taking the mantle when I’m unable to be online.

Overseer
These guys oversee (very appropriate name) the clan as a whole, but can have specific areas each to look over (such as Citadel/Forums/Events etc).

Coordinator
We do not currently have anybody of this rank. This rank will be for those who have been doing an organisers job for a long time and will be masters of their specific tasks, as well as general clan maintenance.

Organiser
This rank is for those who have been an Admin for a good period of time and help us look after the clan. This is also the rank where Admins may receive a specific job role, such as maintaining the Citadel, upkeeping the forums, helping to run events or a whole host of other jobs.

Admin
These are guys who’ve been in the clan for a while and help us keep the clan running smoothly in it’s daily operation. This is the lowest rank that JaGeX lets summon Avatars, so they will mostly be Wardens also. We will have some actual Wardens who’s rank are technically lower which will be explained below.

Avatar Wardens
These guys are different to all the other high tier ranks. Because the higher ranks take so long to earn, we can be short of folk to host the Avatars on worlds, so trusted Lieutenants and Captains, who cap in the Citadel every week, have the chance to become a Warden. Their rank will show as Admin (as this is the minimum requirement to summon an Avatar), but they will keep their actual ranks, and level up accordingly (so if they were a Lieutenant Warden, on their next promotion would be a Captain Warden) so that people don’t skip ranks. These guys have been in the clan for a long time and who have chosen not to become a Warden throughout their time. We don’t generally tend to have many of these as most do aim to be a Warden for the XP bonuses of the Avatars.

Captain
Captains are dependant and committed members who have been with us for many months, help out in the chat and are generally active. This is the main rank where people apply to be Wardens on.

Lieutenant
People of this rank have been with us for a good few months, and have shown they’re sticking with us. Generally chatty and dependable, this is the lowest rank one can apply to be a Warden on.

Sergeant
These guys have been with us for about 4-8 weeks, passed the trial phase, enter the Citadel weekly and have proven themselves to be a good clan mate that gels well with the rest of us.

Corporal
This rank is for people who have been in the clan for just over a week, have entered the Citadel for the second time and passed the trial, which makes sure they are a decent human and not a goob!

Private
Privates are those who have just joined the clan, and are currently under trial. Privates will be promoted to Corporal after entering the Citadel for the second time or a week, whichever comes last. It is possible if you don't play much it could take a few weeks, this gives us time to assess and make sure you fit in with us. Hunting down Herb and Cooking now!
