I don(t know if i am doing something wrong, but this ripper demons slayer task s.... big time.
I also had viewed some tactics on youtube but i can not get them work.
Also if the ripper demon demon is going to make the special attack, i move away but still sometimes it manages to jump on me en kill me.
And also moving away, makes me sometimes click on another ripper demon, with known consequences.

I finished my task after many deaths.
This is really frustating.
The task is really frustating.

If anybody has tips that work, please post.
If others experience the same problem, please post.

first what method are you trying to do?

Please gib some advice. I blocked ripper demons because they kick my @$$. I have lvl 90 combat stats and level 80-90 gear and I use turmoil but I end up going through an entire inventory of rocktails within 5 minutes?

i wear full trimmed masterwork armour.
upgraded darklight with off hand drygore mace
vamp scrim
and spam the devoted
protect melee

but tbh those 4 tasks
ripppers
mammoths
living wyverns
camel warriors all own me several times a task

rippers being the easiest of the 4 if avoid the special attack

with that set up youll often kill them before they special

a mate taught me the set up and so much easyer now, i was using a materwork spear of anihillation to start with that i made from a spear tip drop, which is my most expensive weapon i own, but is naff on rippers

the upgraded darklight is free from dod quest. and an off hand drygore is maybe 20-30mill

darklight doesnt get augmented, but you can add demon slayer perk to the off hand

Here's what I do. Stay up north by the cave entrance and attack one of them that lurks just to the west. Make sure you don't use any AOE attacks. Cleave is a sneaky one for 2H.

When they jump they always land one square west of you. So you just want to make one click and run into the open area to the east. If other demons are there a right click > Walk Here is safe. Clicking on the mini-map is great too if you prefer that.

Their special attack bar goes up when they hit you. Sometimes they hit more than expected, so you want to be having potions and prayers for sure.

If your health gets too low they all pile on you. If anything goes wrong you can just bail out the exit and come back in.
