Insta denied unban appeal?

So one of my old accounts has been banned, it has been 5 years since that happened, decided to make an unban appeal cause as far as i know, you can get unbanned if you make an appeal 5 years later.
So i made the appeal, explained everything there etc, sent the email, and closed evertything since it would take upto 10 days for them to reply with their decision.
Decided to check my email today, no response, decided to log into the runescapes account thingy, and boom, 1 unread message, and was greeted with the appeal denied.
The appeal was denied about 30 minutes after i made the appeal.
I waited 5 years to make an unban appeal just to get rejected in 30 minutes?
Dont know if it was reviewed by an actual jmod or was an automated decision.

if its a clear cut case then yeah it will only take 30 mins to look into your account and see it still should be banned

good job we can use this thread when someone rants about how long it takes to get appeals look at it.

should belong in compliments sections

i think its dependent upon the offense. it took me 7 years.

some will always be banned, that is what permanent means :P

It was an automated decision. You must have typed something in your appeal that triggered text detection to automatically deny your appeal. OP appealed it during jagex hours but that doesn't mean an actual jmod responded and saw the appeal.

Thats messed up tbh, but i guess theres nothing to do then :( .
